Quite a few mods were ready right away because a lot of those modders are part of the rimworld Dev discord and are in the private builds. Harmony was ready within minutes, for instance.
Have you ever done a trifecta run?
3 colonist start, each seeks power in a different way.
One through biological experimentation and gene splicing (capturing and managing prisoners/slaves), one through heavy power armour and robotics, and one political through ties to the empire and psychic powers.
Make them joint leaders and recruit followers, or limit to three plus robots and servants
Quadfecta once the new expansion comes out, I'm guessing.
The Mad Scientist, the Crazy Mechanic, the Greedy Politician, and the Corrupted Warlock!
Once I have Rimworld, I want to make Astartes.
Gene-modded cyberized psychics.
What's the optimal weapon for those guys? Persona weapons of course, with shield belts. The killbots can provide fire support.
12 x 12 is the biggest internal space! 11x11 is nice because you can center a door!
And really 12 x 12 is just the biggest square. You can lengthen that out in one direction until you hit the room area limit when it starts reading as outdoors even if roofed.

Okay, so I need to clear out my mod list on RimWorld and dive in once more.
I made a hidden reinforced conduit mod like that like for A15 or something... took them a while to adopt.
I've always loved the rimworld modding community, and Tynan and his studio. They've always worked together and it's so great. I've had the game since before it was put on steam, and I will literally always support the game, its modders, its players, and its developers, and I'll always make sure I have money saved for new content.
Klaatu Barada Nikto originally came the 1951science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still. It was used in several other movies. But I still like Army of Darkness the most.

Old English and Middle English did have both the thorn (θ) and the eth (ð) symbols for centuries, as did Old Norse and other Scandinavian languages. These letters were going out of favour by the 14th century, however, often replaced by "th", and finally disappeared after the printing press was introduced along with Dutch and Belgian setters who did not have these letters in their typefaces.
The Ye seen on old signs was simply a florid handwritten version of the word θe (the). The thorn and the eth are still in everyday use in modern Icelandic.

I actually started doing outside lights... removing the corners and some bits on buildings, building roofs over the space and putting a lamp there. Mostly because it boosted night combat and hindered some attackers that wanted darklight.
Also started building gazebo type structures for some outdoor areas, for recreation and as dinning areas.
I like the corner lights gonna use that
@@kristiannicholson5893 I also remove one block where walls meet the outer wall on large buildings too. Since they building doesn't need corners to be enclosed and sealed.
The new icon for the Wall Lights mod is incredible. RIP wall lights mod, you have been a staple in my modlist for almost 6 years.
I got to travel on the paternoster at Leicester University when I was there. It was amazing and terrifying. I believe they closed it a few years ago, which is so disappointing.
So the long game was to give us cultures as a way to get HUGE boosts to moodlets so in the next expansion he could inflict HUGE penalties to moodlets

Soo, I think you just laid out the skeleton for a T.A.R.D.I.S. mod around 38:40 when you started talking about the save our ship mod stuff. Don't think I've ever seen a Dr. Who tie in with rim world mods

Just as an fyi, but if you hold control and then click on an image, it should open in a new tab and then you can close it with control + w.
The target prone 20% accuracy as it stands is a huge debuff(it multplies your current total accuracy/mosifiers by 1/5), so changing it to 50% is actually just halfing accuracy instead which makes a big difference.
It's probably not going to matter much because you'll almost always just walk next to them for an execution rather than shooting at a distance, but theoretically in a fight where an enemy goes prone it could make it much easier to finish them quickly without moving from cover.
Does this accuracy debugf apply to downed pawns you aren't aiming at? Basically does this make it easier to accidentally kill downed hostiles?
The first thing I thought with the vials, tome and golden cube was alchemy/material transmutation.

A thought for the things that have to be destroyed: Allow them to be flagged to be attacked and have the pawns do so as a form of dexterity recreation, (akin to people who go out into the Arizona desert to shoot up old TVs and whatnot).
My mod list just got so much shorter. I'm going to have to play completely vanilla now just so I can figure out what I still need.
So light and fire are going to be very relevant to some of these anomaly events given the number of tweaks to those systems.

Have you ever thought about hiring a bookkeeper of some kind? It sounds like you could really do with the extra pair of hands to help with the back end things (like emails and accounting) that add endless hours onto your work day.

I have a crew that I modeled after myself and my high-school class mates.... I'd love to see them collab in a world-ending unwinnable scenario.

If you want to keep an infected person alive, CLEAN THEIR ROOM & put them in the best quality bed you have. You did have time to capture that prisoner prior to tending, just, which would have also reduced their infection chance.. but nvm

...Well, I know what I'm going to have mostly turned off when it releases, if I wanted Horror games I'd play a horror game, if I wanted Horror in RimWorld I'd download the Mythos Mod lol

I havent watched this yet, but I hope they added the ability to rename the AI factions at game setup. I know there are mods for it but just like the wall light I feel like it is something that should be in the game by default. Before I found a mod that functioned I would spend a huge amount of time just regenerating worlds because the AI factions would have terrible names

I'm mostly like that, I tend to do some Royalty because it ropes you in and throne rooms are sweet, just a starting Ideology to get some extra swag that I don't pay much attention to, and starting genetics for my first colonists (usually cat people) but I don't do any of the manipulation stuff.
@@KnownAsKenji Royalty is the one I use the least I cant be bothered to waste valuable colony space for a throne room
The expansion really doesn't appeal to me, but the patch seems great!

Ok so 1.5 is a q.o.l. update with a lot of mods being turned into actual features and anomaly allows you to "fight" an archotech. Sign me the fuck up

I am not at all interested in the DLC, but the patch is interesting. Horror has never played a part of what I saw Rimworld as but I am not opposed to others enjoying it. I just hope it doesn't push the game towards that even more in future DLCs or updates. I want Space Cowboys and Robots, not another cheap Eldritch story. They're pretty much dime a dozen these days.
I've been wanting something like a 'Rimworld: Hospitality' that reworks many aspects of base building, adds a good amount, and has options to set up new types of rooms like tourist traps, inns, or public hospitals. I think it could help bases feel more home-y and help with a Cowboy vibe. It's another excuse to add a bunch of stuff mods already do, but it would be nice to have it all packaged well in vanilla.
Honestly this may be the first expansion that is just not for me. It seems to only add difficulty.
