We started drinking Veranda in 2016 and bought nothing else for three years. Then in the fall of 2019 I noticed the consistent good flavor and smell was gone and every bag we bought was different. Some times it was so disgusting I just poured the whole 12 cup pot down the drain. I reached out to Starbucks but they were not sympathetic to my problems and just offered me $10 gift card. I told them I did not want the gift card I just wanted an explanation of what was happening and their help with getting good tasting coffee once again. They did nothing and I have quit buying their coffee.
@@roskoer5218 did you know that taste perception doesn’t abruptly change but business practices do. If their taste perception changed to that degree ALL COFFEE would be nasty. But nice try.
Question, I have anxiety but would love to try this flavor, the blonde coffee but how much coffee beans should I add before grinding it?!! I don't need it too strong!!
@@BarryBizarre so yesterday I purchased the keurig k cafe pod coffee maker. I used the vanilla blonde roast k cup pods today and unfortunately it made me very jiggy which I don't like. I didn't think it was gonna turn out so strong. All day my anxiety was high because of it but when I order a TALL hot vanilla blonde latte from Starbucks, my anxiety is not that bad. So idk what's the difference there
@@MaritzaMendoza1018 Sounds like you’re getting more caffeine out of a cup of coffee than a shot of espresso than what you’ll receive in a latte. You can always try adding less coffee to your pods at home.
Ty26917 I bought it at Starbucks a few years ago. It was actually recalled this year due to the top of the plunger melting off. It definitely looks cool and is a good French press other than that
I don't know know much about coffee - but after trying this in a French press, I have found it to be very strong and bitter. It also looks like a dark chocolate colour (as you've shown), not "blonde" as it's described. I love the way it smells in the packet, but once it's poured into the mug, I find it bitter enough where I must add a bit of milk. That doesn't bode well for anything Starbucks are marketing as stronger than this - I was under the impression this would be a mild coffee - but in my experience, for my pallet and my friend who drinks coffee, it is not mild, or "blonde".
@David Ah I can't remember the exact amount now. But I did measure it out to a sum/ratio like some videos have advised. I still found it too bitter. I surmised that "proper coffee" maybe isn't for me! I'll stick with instant.
@@gurtana you actually think coffee powder can produce blonde colored liquid? What? Come on man. That's just marketing. Blond color just means lightly roasted, it's not literally yellow colored. And it's mild taste compared to their overly bitter medicinal smell coffee extract, it is still bitter of course, it's still coffee, you can't compare it with sweetened latte.
honestly the starbucks veranda via packets are pretty good when it comes to instant coffee. What I like about that particular coffee is that it doesn't have that chemical taste that most instant coffees give you. Try to find it in your area. If you want it weaker, you can always just add more water to dilute your brew. Hope this helps!
Hello i have a question do you think starbucks coffee kenya is a good strong coffee? Cause i wanna buy a pack but i am not sure its for me. Can you do a review? If you do thanks
Parna Donkers greetings Parna, Starbucks Kenya Coffee is going to be juicy with a brown sugar taste. If you like these flavors in your Coffee, I would get it. I can definitely do a review of the Kenya coffee for sure!

I see this is a old vid but I'll ask anyway. I need a bulk replacement for veranda blend. Anyone have suggestions? Whole bean to match flavor. Please and thanks.
any coffee can be used to pull espresso shots from a machine. You would need to dial in the coffee with a good grinder to get the results that you want.
I must be lacking in taste buds 😂😂😂😂 everyone out there like ☕️😌: me smell cocoa, me taste chocolatey, very smooth, even a lil sweet!!! I try it and I’m like : ☕️🤨me smell coffee, me taste coffee that not bitter but taste like coffee. This coffee doesn’t need creamer ( light roasts) or this coffee needs creamer or imma die🥴 ( for medium roasts)!!! Or 😣what in the bitter hell is this, creamer won’t save it ( dark roasts)
I completely understand. All of these notes that people "taste" are merely just perceptions. Everybody's palette is completely different, and not everyone will perceive the suggested the notes that are on a bag of coffee. hope this helps!
Because Starbucks coffee is literally garbage. Anyone who really cares about coffee knows that. There are way better options at all price ranges and roasts.
Completely subjective opinion. A ton of people would disagree with you & syrup/sugar has not a thing to do with people that drink black coffee or cream only. You don’t like it , fine, but don’t act as though you’re some final authority or objective voice. Their roast technique & roasting process consists of heating beans to ‘2nd crack’,. This results in a dark, deep roast. Medium roast often taste similar to dark in other brands(pike place for example) & dark roasts(especially French & Italian roast) are DARK, smoky, coffee forward, strong roasts. It is just a brand that seems to be love or hate. However, the sugary, syrupy, milkshake type drinks are everywhere (Starbucks, dunkin donuts , Peets, even Seattle’s best), & those are basically targeted to a different group than coffee lovers.
