Akimi thats easy to do the entire deck is based on gazelle. Stop the eff you win simple as that. they don’t have anything to deal with high atk monsters. Like blueyes.
Summon gazelle Gazelle effect gets stopped What u going to do? Normal summoned gone at best u can hope u have a spinny an gazelle in hand to be able to get another on board. To go into link. Stop gazelle unless you have an amazing ass hand you ain’t doing anything for that turn that will be impressive
@@M1n1me13 I would stop Gazelle if it was Normal Summoned, because it means that there is no Spinny in Hand. But if they Normal Spinny, link it away and Special Summon Gazelle, the best play is to stop the Mirage Stallio, because it prevents them from ss Jack Jaguar to recycle Gazelle and get a +1 every Turn. So they end on something like Sunlight Wolf + Roar
I know I'm late to the party, but I just want to say I fell in love with this archetype after getting the Soulburner structure deck, and now consider Salamangreat as my new favorite archetype in the game, having beaten HERO as my previous favorite archetype
I find it funny that Salamangreats are actually meta relevant. At first everyone was trashing both Cyberse and Salamangreats when they were first introduced. But I knew eventually all the awesome support would cause 1 deck to finally capitalize on it.
Especially cap g, he was pretty much super disappointed when the structure deck first got announced, and he trashing the deck so hard. In my personal opinion, he doesn’t deserve to play this deck.
Dark Wind Ruler Granted, before the structure deck came out the deck was pretty janky. Also, I will never forget not forgive Konami for making the Ritual Salamangreat shit and tease us by saying the ritual spell works on all Salamangreat Rituals...
First time commented, and only recently got back into Yugioh over the past year. Didn't know how to reach out to you in a better way but I think you should really bring back to "introduction" series and continue it as new Arch-types come out. For those getting into Yugioh for the first time or are coming back to the game, the series was a great introduction to the game and gave great insight into potential desk to buy to combat the current meta or just had a keen interest in. either way, I think its great content and still enjoy what you do now.
I must say that this salamangreat video was salamanfantasic!!! Been loving the deck since actually before they were ever made and debuted in the Yugioh vrains anime (which I do highly recommend watching 😉) and it’s so awesome to see this salamangreat archetype be salamanmeta meta relevant!!!

This deck is a treasure. Seriously. There is not a single one "trash" Salamangreat Card in that Soulburner Structure Deck. You can build your own Salamangreat Deck as you want. (but i highly recommend getting that Lady Debug 3x, Sunlight Wolf 3x and at least 1x Violet Chimera and Fusion of Fire, the rest is really just optional) Yes, you can build in cards like Effect Veiler, Psychic Wheelder, etc. but you dont have to. Your deck will still be really good. I even play with underrated cards like Salamangreat Gift in my deck even tho most pro players dont use it. And as alternative for Impermanence i use Breakthrough Skill 3x.
I use Psychic Tracker in my salamangreats since I had a play set of them and they are only to extend play. Some other extra deck cards that can be used are Transcode Talker Update Jammer and Clock Lizard(for a violet chimera combo)

Don't forget that if you hard draw the field spell as a 1 of, you can bait hand traps by telling your opponent you're activating Balelynx. If they don't hand trap you, attempt to search deck, say no target, and they have to take your word for it. LOL.
This deck at what I’m looking at at like a average player standpoint is since I have a salamangreat budget deck it’s using the effect to combo from the grave to get more cards on to the field to tribute, special summon, or summon from your extra deck as most of the cards in your normal deck don’t have that high of an attack
Id also like to add somthing with the salamangreat fusion,IF your using Clock Lizard you can recycle the fusion monster and the fusion spell from grave to make an otk or a heavy presence on board play
1 card combo with lady debug. Normal summon debug, add gazelle, link into balelynx, add sanctuary, Reincarnate link into another balalynx, activate gazelle, special summon itself, dump spinny, special spinny, get mirage stallio, and if you went second then you could link into sunlight wolf and bounce a monster, but not before activating stallio to get either jack jaguar or foxy
Sonny Liverod-Griffin - Can get veilered which is why you either play backup secretary or psychic tracker/wheeleder. Great idea tho, just not great right now.

These cards are a pain in my ass. I just started practicing Salamangreat and there is a lot of fucking reading and memorizing to get through, not to mention the potential combos to figure out. So far I prefer my Ghostrick deck. I was able catch on fairly quickly with them or just make a deck using whatever the hell cards I wanted, not making one that revolves around the same type of monster.

Every time I play salamangreats I compare this deck with Altergeist. Every single monster is going plus one. No surprise why this deck is so strong. ^^
I know, I know, not exactly related to the topic as of the video as a whole, but this crossed my mind a few times when Balelynx was on the screen I still find it annoying how so many cards that offer protection for its archetype by banishing itself to prevent destruction are being made hard once per turns now. Return of the Dragon Lords' protection effect isn't once per turn, so why is that happening with every new card that shares that anti-destruction GY effect released during the VRAINs era other than Neos Fusion?

Also its level 3 so XYZ material...why evrybody prefer adding a garanteed gazelle (which can easy be negated) over drawing 2 cards for free?! You will either draw into gazelle or into your rota so...
I can appreciate the design of this archetype; it's very consistent and it's always nice to see an anime character's deck doing well. I personally don't play it because it's just not for me. However I'm starting to get a little annoyed at how everyone and their mother is playing it online
I think Sea Archiver should be something players using this deck should look into. And before anybody says anything, I get it's not a fire attribute but you're going to eventually summon a card to an area a link card points to. I mean, it's a free summon and it's level three. Other than its attribute, what's the harm in just putting one in your deck?

Hey does Spinny gets banished If It is used as an overlay material for Miragestalio and then send to the GV for its effect? Because Spinny's effect is for when It leaves the field right?
If its used as xyz material, it still goes to the graveyard. Example. A monster summoned from harmonizing magician (which is banished btw if it leaves the field) is used as xyz material, if you detach said monster, it still goes to the graveyard
Since 30 bucks is a tad outside of my price range, what can I use to replace Sunlight Wolf? If possible? It looks like a core card but 50 bucks is a bit much for three Soulburners already.

I'm kind of a noob for Yu-Gi-Oh so bare with me. I just don't understand how would you use heatleo and sunlight wolf in a battle phase.. their ATK are quite weak againts some decks for example orcust or D/D/D
Heatleo has an effect where you can target 1 monster in your GY and 1 of your opponents monsters has the same attack so you can target 1 very weak salamangreat (there are plenty)
Link monsters can either be used as 1 material or their link rating but not for a monster of the same rating. Salamangreat heatleo can be "reincarnate link summoned" without the fieldspell but that would require Heatleo + 2 monsters.
debug (less likely but the support it would give to other competitive cyberse strategies makes me wary in archetype, gazelle to less copies, link 1 or stallio banned (very extreme)
I like the deck but i think konami has to stop printing cards that special summon monsters from the deck. It’s just gonna break the game even more in the long run

I had a mini celebration when you inckuded where the cards came from box-wise. It's a bit tedious to remember where all my favorite cards are placed.

No bc xyz materials arent cards on the field so it would technically a new card so then it goes to grave

He's around 5-6 dollars per copy so you can get a playset for 18 dollars, plus you'll also want lady debug at $21 for a playset.

I like the deck but i think konami has to stop printing cards that special summon monsters from the deck. It’s just gonna break the game even more in the long run
Its archetype specific. Pretty hard to make it "broken" invoker was pretty generic which made it easy to use for degenerate strategies
