Dimash did some very cool unique things in this version, but be aware the show runners messed with the song by doing some pitch correction and adding vocal parts that Dimash didn't even sing (didn't even know that was possible). Most of the tampering came at the end the end of the song. If you watch a fan cam version of this performance, you will hear exactly where they messed with it.

It begins with the shyness and doubt of a stranger who enters a territory totally alien to him (when he plays in piano mode and with sounds surrounded by encouragement), he moves on to the desire to test his strength to achieve a new beginning in music. life. (then when he achieves that magnificent passage through the entire spectrum of his vocal range using very different singing techniques in each register) and finally reaches the power of the victorious hero who not only tried, not only fought but finally defeated him (when he shows us the power of his belt and that super long high note of 20 seconds)! I don't know if anyone told you yet, but when you watch this performance of "Stranger," it's important to keep in mind Dimash was very ill at the time and left directly from the stage to get medical attention. This is the only performance where I've ever heard Dimash run out of breath early. And yet, the vocalization in the middle of the song is longer and more complex. What a consummate professional to perform at this level regardless of being sick!!😳
Thank you, thank you. I thought he was straining for breath when he was chopping the end of the words in that one stanza. ( Something l had never heard him do before.) I missed the fact that he left for medical attention right after. Was it his rhinitis?

Clearly it was affecting his ability to breathe because I heard the same thing you did, which I've never heard with him before. I don't know how he was able to breathe well enough to do that entire amazing vocalization section!
Sheer determination not to let his dears down. Other performers cancel if they have a sniffle or a bad week. Adele did this for 5 performances in a row and no one got a refund. She was not even physically sick! God bless our Dimash.

Dimash was ill with rhinitis during this performance and was awaiting surgery. That is why he was unable to hold that last note as long as the 1st time. But the vocalization in the middle is absolutely stunning! Thank you for doing both versions.
At another concert he had to have a doctor inject him in the throat three times so that he could sing. He was very ill. No one could tell except that he was sweating profusely. What a professional! What a man! No wonder that we love him so.

But maybe a lot of good will come from the whole experience for him and everyone he encounters. And he'll improve his English and become even better known while learning about directing. Hay que tomar en cuenta que aquí estaba en un reality show donde convivió por 2 meses con sus hermanos chinos y le tocó preparar su nueva versión y así apoyar en puntos a su equipo.! Hola Gerard ya hay graves y agudos de Dimash que no se encuentran en el piano incluyendo algunos semitonos. Su rango vocal va del G0 al D8, 7,7 octavas y posiblemente ya este en la 8 octavas o estara pronto. Su repertorio es de alrededor de 500 canciones entre covers y composiciones y las canta en 13 idiomas incluyendo el español.

Stranger is a very powerful composition, it was amazing from the first performance. But here Dimash did something so incredible that it was almost scary, maybe it is his best performance. Thank you for such a wonderful gift.

At another concert he had to have a doctor inject him in the throat three times so that he could sing. He was very ill. No one could tell except that he was sweating profusely. What a professional! What a man! No wonder that we love him so.

But maybe a lot of good will come from the whole experience for him and everyone he encounters. And he'll improve his English and become even better known while learning about directing. Sensacional !!! Dimash ya es un Maestro aunque él insiste en decir que aún no llega al nivel de un gran artista, es muy duro y exigente con el mismo, busca superarse a él mismo.! Hay que tomar en cuenta que aquí estaba en un reality show donde convivió por 2 meses con sus hermanos chinos y le tocó preparar su nueva versión y así apoyar en puntos a su equipo.! Aquí no está ni Igor Krutoy,, aquí no está el instrumento Kobys, aquí no está su coro, ni su equipo con el que se presenta en grandes escenarios, es él con su voz y esto lo digo para los que andan comentando que sus presentaciones son arregladas, procesadas y manipuladas para que se escuche tan bien. Su rango vocal va del G0 al D8, 7,7 octavas y posiblemente ya este en la 8 octavas o estara pronto.
