For the english speaking people who want to know the reason for the weird name and how to pronounce it:
The name Maangodin translates to "MoonGoddess" form dutch to English. The ship is probably based on the myth of the flying dutchman and i think that is why it has a dutch name. You pronounce it as Maan-Godin.

That location is a placeholder for the new Ghost Ship coming on the 27th. Also for your other video where the other sea monster is at that's also a placeholder. Unless they decide to keep those locations and make the other ones spawn somewhere else as of right now they was not meant to be spawning in those locations.

Can only board when the enemy ship has very low health, enough health where muskets would sink the ship instead. All the ships' health needs to flash blue to board, muskets will apply when it partly flashes blue

The Maangodin will spawn even without the contract, though not guarenteed and among multiple spawns you have the venture between them until you get it. But the contract will spawn once a day at the oubliette which will guarantee a spawn close to the island.

You have to wait until the health is at a certain point for it to activate so just be patient don't use the crew attack when the health is low and save it for the final crew boarding

Don’t buy the blueprint for the blue specter. One of the materials you need is the “vengeful essence” and it’s not even in the game yet. You have a better chance of it dropping from the ship directly but you can use your spy glass to scout out the ship and if you see it listed in the loot then it’s a guaranteed drop.

At all but some take like 10 minutes to spawn and sometimes as it is turning day if the fog is there so will be the ship unless I got lucky with the spawns haha
