Malahat Skywalk in Vancouver Island | Is it worth it?

Paying a visit to Vancouver island’s newest attraction. We were already on the island anyway so might as well check this out.
Malahat SkyWalk is an accessible 600 m TreeWalk through a beautiful arbutus forest leading to a spectacular gentle spiral ramp that takes you up 32m to a sightseeing lookout offering views of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Peninsula, Mount Baker and the distant Coast Mountains.

It's not a lake. It's Saanich Inlet, salt water.

Due to time constraints we were not able to (it was a 60-90 minute wait just for your turn to slide), but I would say it would have definitely been worth it had we gone onto the slide! If you want to get in to the slide I suggest going to the skywalk early and head to the top as soon as possible.

Hi. We came from Comox where we camped and drove about 2 hours south. The skywalk is close to Victoria so there shoul be a lot of accommodation available

lol it's worth it if you have money to burn, sure
