Paints needed to paint these magnificent bastards: - Khorne Red applied to all over the power armour w/ a Large Citadel Base Brush. - Abbadon Black will be used to pannel line the recesses w/ a Small Layer Brush. - Edge Highlight the armour with Khorne Red with an even drop of White Scar, or Ceremite White w/ a Small Layer Brush. The ratio is 2:1.
Darrion Rauth aka "Watcher" from the Deathwatch kill team "Talon" was an Exorcist. You should check out Renegades of The Swords of Epiphany, CSM warband and their connection to the Exorcist Chapter.
More like Guts from “Berserk”: No kidding: there was an actual part early on in the “Black Swordsman Arc” where Guts has his body invaded by a legion of evil spirits from a mass-grave outside a castle, and he gets so pissed that he literally fights off multiple Demonic Possessions.
The "creation process", if one can call that as it is, of The Exorcists was not an attempt to either replace nor replicate the success that went into the creation of the Gray Knights, but rather an initiative towards progressing to the original pre-Heresy special forces first trike response forces, among the original Astartes Legions, only to be specialized in anti deamon and warp combat,
They're descended from Grey knights actually. The one and only successor chapter. Hence their origins are shrouded in secrecy, grey knights are a "secret"
Did their dark red armour give them away? :D The consensus, though, seems to be they are made from Grey Knights gene-seed by the Inquisition for extra daemon-hunting purposes.
I'm thinking about building an Ordo Maleus army with the inquisitior Hector Rex some GreyKnights & Exorcisist for my first army I've been trying to decide who to go with forever. Just can't decide. Every time o think I know who obwant to order i find some more lore i like better.
Every chapter has to give up a percentage of their gene seed for testing right? Some of that goes towards the creation of new chapters. So what happens to the gene seed from chapters of "unknown" origins? Would it be used to create new chapters or simply destroyed? Maybe their origins are actually known to some organisation?
Their origin would definitely be known by the Inquisition in this case, since they literally set up and founded the chapter. Regarding your question, though it seems kinda stupid, I wouldn't put it past the imperium's pencil pushers to mislabel or not label at all some gene-stocks. Then, 5000 years later, poof, nobody knows where it came from.
GrimDark Narrator U Sure? My Chapter has 10 Pictures. Showing All Ranks And Specialization Colors. I Consider It Stuck Between A Tier 3 And A Tier 2 Chapter

I have zero knowledge of painting minis but that sounds really useful :)
What's the purpose of being a fan of 30-40K then?😲
I just love the lore. I read the novels and play some of the video games.
I don't collect, paint, or play the miniatures either. Just read and play games, plus watch grim's awesome videos!
thanks :)

I actually just finished a short story on that kill team
A space marine chapter completely consisting of Doomguy from doom. Fantastic
I don't think Doomguy was actually possessed by a daemon though.
Doomguy is a deamon to the deamons
More like Guts from “Berserk”:

An interesting theory.
@@GrimDarkNarrator Not a theory but a fact
I thought Grey knight's were badass, these guy's do it as a normalish Astarte's chapter....can we have more on this chapter if it exists please.
Sure, there are 2 more videos upcoming.
they scream word bearers I can say this because I'm an inquisitor everyone else shouldn't repeat
They're descended from Grey knights actually. The one and only successor chapter. Hence their origins are shrouded in secrecy, grey knights are a "secret"
Aaand now we know they're Imperial Fists Successors! So freaking awsome!!
I always wonder if other Loyalist space marines are ever confused by their symbol
The symbols on their armour remind me of word bearers, Though I thought Beastmen (this is what the sigil reminds me of) was a thing in 40k again.
I'd wager there are quite a few loyalist chapters that use questionably iconography.
@@dante001ish that's the head of a daemon
We all know which theme music these guys fight with.
Thank you, Grim. What to hear of this Chapter.
You're welcome.
Imagine if the chapter took it on themselves to indoctrinate and have primaris marines possessed to make them real exorcists .
I was under the impression the primaris are nigh on impossible to get possessed by daemons.
I say they are loyalist Word Bearers.
they scream word bearers to me
Did their dark red armour give them away? :D The consensus, though, seems to be they are made from Grey Knights gene-seed by the Inquisition for extra daemon-hunting purposes.
Just something says word bearers they could be of grey knight gene seed too.
Thanks for the vid sir.

By no means an expert here, but if its your first army. maybe go with something that has a rich ruleset and not an exotic faction.
Black Dragons please.
I'll add them to the roster.
Yesss! Fire and Bone! Bless the Curse!

well asking those questions is a bit heretical so id be careful

thank you thank you thank you thank you.
You're welcome.
They seem more like pre-heresy Thousand Sons
Their colour scheme is similar but the attitude is kinda the opposite.
👍
Black Legion?
They are not really a loyalist chapter, though, are they :) I'll talk about them eventually when I start a series on chaos warbands/factions.
Another Amazing Video.
It Would Be Cool If You Reviewed Homebrew Chapters Also Like 40k Theories
That's a good idea that's been suggested before by someone. Only problem would be the lack of pictures.
