    While they may call it an "engraver" it can cut just fine. As long as you have your material laying correctly.

    Thanks for the tips and good to know! I wonder if you used a longer focal length lens whether the wood would need to be so accurately held down? Seems a bit crazy that there is no tolerance for play. My 60W CO2 doesn't require so much precision to just get a cut done. Still second guessing whether to go with this or the Nova - I know that will get the job done :)

      That is a really great question, I do think that a longer lens would give a bit more forgiveness but then you lose the crazy detail when engraving (which at 1000 dpi is awesome). I will say this, the RF beam is super clean and by that I mean its the smallest kerf and goes through acrylic like butter (even 6mm). I LOVE how easy a lens swap or cleaning is with it being on there with finger screws, takes only a couple seconds and doesn't need any alterations in the software once changed.
