Thanks for showing the build! The tip for the shadow temper was helpful. It's a bummer though that even with two uber uniques it only eeks out pit 81 =( Sorc really needs an overhaul instead of the devs giving 5% to one random skill every once in a blue moon
There’s quite a few legendary aspects and Sorc nodes in the paragon tree that are not working/functioning properly which is why it feels so bad , give it a week or so when they come out with hot fixes and you should see a nice difference
i think u can easily achieve perma flameshield with this build, people are doing it for frozen orb and they have even less ways to reset cooldowns
how has this felt with the recent patch changes?
did vulnerable get fixed?
I recently changed my build to ball lightning, it performs well in dungeons and such, but I wish I know beforehand how futile it feels for world events/content especially with other players around.
Bad season to try a ball lighting build but I did... I cant imagine how good this must have felt in season 2. I'm having a lot of fun though but I cant push higher tiers. Right now I'm struggling with T45+ and need to be able to temper further. Glad I switch to your updated board and gained the extra life which was much needed. Thank you!!!
It was the best build in season 2. The Vampire powers really was the cherry on top.
"In our pants, we have concussive strikes"
Can melted heart of selig not work with it not to die ?
So having any vulnerable damage on sorc is not working?
What rings would you suggest if you don’t have either uniques?
Rings with Resource cost reduction, attack speed, crit chance. Shredding blades and prodigys are two good aspects too substitutes the uniques with.
Unstable Currents cdr and close damage for your tempering.
How does the control aspect trigger? I do not see where we immobilize or stun?
the Raiment chest unique stuns the enemies 5:40 and Invoked Lightning Spear
Nice build man. I don’t understand why do you use lighting spear if It's not in any skill or enchantment. Can you help me?
Unstable currents can cast it while active. Don't need it on the bar either. "Lightning surges within you for 10 seconds. Whenever you cast a Shock Skill, a random Core, Conjuration, or Mastery Shock Skill is also cast."
I recently started playing again and BL feels so much worse compared with S2. Why is this? Did they nerf it? It feels like I only get half the amount of lightning balls and it feels like they do less damage?
They did nerf it, very heavily in fact. It's still a decent build but I have doubt it can do tormented boss easily.
In season 2 it was broken and did more than what it was supposed to do.
But they ended up nerfing it into the ground anyways in stead of just fixing it.
Apparently, we are all supposed to suffer through struggling to play unless you want to just play HoA barbarian or bone spear necromancers
@@standingwithukraine2695 Really annoying to be honest. Might as well switch to a boring blizz build then.
it was bugged and they patched the bug that made it do insane amounts of damage. since that, it feels worse because of numerous sorc bugs that make their paragon nodes straight up not work
@@jibbibious btw I switched to bash Barb two weeks ago. Survivability and damage of the barb are insane.
Isnt %dmg a useless stat?
not useless but not as good as damage to close or distant. the latter stats are good for when you're ready to min max and specialize your build. Ball lightning builds should exclusively temper for damage to close enemies and/or crowd controlled enemies in a pinch. almost never take %damage or damage to distant enemies
1:03 thats such a lie you dont need starless sky 25 mana per using cd is still so good for it also tibaults also no core skills you not reach atk speed early on since you do want to procc esus ferocity 75% and the crits of core skills for additional 25% no need more atk speed you hit the cap! so get krit chance, krit dmg, more ranks for BL wait what? supreme not needed it is. Also get you devouring blaze key passive up by amulett. enchantment should be firebolt + (frozen blades or Blizzard for -20% cost) why using the lucky hit rates ? use barrier power up get you barrierer much stronger. no why using dmg as tempering you need damage vs close enemies first and later mastery skill dmg when you BL ranks are above 20-22. The poison lucky hit also the shadow one not works well you defently want the double projectile of BL get out raiment of infinite use any armor with life, armor, + 2 ranks all defenisves or (tyreales )for pits 125+ also trade you pants of for tibaults. no you not want manna ressource gain you want unstable currents cooldown which is roughly 11-13 sec for that ring if you dont have shaco you run god killer crown omg this build is like crazy the paragon board is weird with controll and exploit which you showed more statistic stats you noit reaching 400- 450 non phys all :D
Shako makes every build ideal dude. So many best sorcerer builds and they all are b tier. Disappointing
Someone still plays Lightning build? Its so useless now since the season 2 power isnt a thing. Sorcerers are weak af no matter what way you play it. But lightning orb truly is one of the worst ones to go for unfortunately. I would love to have all elements 2-3 builds possible. Instead its 1-2 builds at best and its cold element....
I loved playing lightning orb but it just sucks compared to frozen orb or blizzard.
BL is still a great built. Not ideal for pushing Pit.
Just need some luck with tempering
@@standingwithukraine2695 i have been able to make BL work decently well til tier 60. I can't clear a tier 60 pit run with it yet. not sure if it's time to abandon this character or go farm uber unique to perfect the build but the masterwork process is gonna be a while for sure
I'm very very happy with this video, and it's very very good.
