It would've also been great if you talked through the FX you put on your voice because that autotune came outta nowhere and then I suddenly had so many questions. o_o Like, how much is your actual voice? You pitched a flat note but didn't use the autotune? What are you using the autotune for then?
Instead of deleting all the excess space and breath's you can add a Gate to your vocal track. Turn the threshold down to about -35 - -40. And it will take out all unwanted noise:)
QUESTION: In the template I see that you have placed the reverbs and delays in a rack on each track instead of putting them on return tracks (which would use a lot less CPU power). Why is this your choice for the template?
I’ve heard Reid say it’s because ableton limits you to 12 return tracks and he also likes to bounce his vocal stems with effects on them. Workflow I assume.
