I am so happy tyrus finally happened but i was crying last night after the last episode because it’s the end and we can’t see what happens with them like we only got to see them confess their love but we don’t get to see their relationship and we don’t get to see Marty or Buffy’s either which I also cried at. I was just a crying mess y’all 😂😂 but I’m also happy that tyrus was endgame.
God. So beautiful. I love Tyrus so much!!! I really want Disney to make a spin off where they get to be boyfriends and really develope their relationship. And if they make a spin off Tyrus has to have a kiss!!! But I am happy with the hand holding. I feel like that is where their relationship was at and it was so pure. But I also feel like they could have kissed or at least the scene could have been longer. Still I am very thankful for what we got. I mean the hand holding scene is just BEAUTIFUL!!! Maybe he saw Cyrus with Buffy at basketball practice and hated the way she treated him like her well trained precious lap dog. maybe it was "love at first sight" and he didn't understand why he got butterflies in his belly and got lightheaded when he saw him. Being totally insecure about himself, he thought that Cyrus was totally above his pay grade. Why would a smart, cute, charming, straight A student want to associate with a "dumb jock!! Maybe that's why he treated Buffy the way he did. I think that him stepping on the muffin the first time in front of Cyrus, was his way to get his attention. not a good idea. the next day, when Buffy said to him "get my friend Cyrus a Muffin" interacting with Cyrus, became a reality. it was like jekyll and hyde. he went from being the Fire Breathing Dragon with Buffy, to the Nurturing Mother Hen, teaching it's chickedy, to fend for himself. His body language changed. his voice softened. He showed Cyrus unabashed, physical affection, 3 times in 1 min. First his hand lovingly on Cyrus shoulder. Then, a gentle 2 handed nudge toward the muffin. Then pressed up against Cyrus when he , announced to the entire lunch room"HE'S WITH ME!" TJ totally forgot he had a bully image to keep up. Do you have a clue, what it must take for the schools, top jock stud prince, to announce to the lunch room, while leaning up against a cute, smart nerd like Cyrus "HE'S WITH ME?" only a big time crush, can make make someone act, so out of character !!! i also don't think, that TJ , finding Cyrus at the swings was an accident. He made the first move with the muffin and broke the ice and wasn't going to let enough time elapse for Buffy to bad mouth him. At the swings, he made himself totally vulnerable. He was clearly embarrassed when Cyrus called him "SCARRY basketball guy. He was so humble, when he said "Actually, it TJ! He opened himself by admitted to Cyrus, that the star and captain of the basketball team, "HAD STUFF!" He said, "you don't know me (and thinking to himself "YET!") Love a first sight, happens to all of us at some point. You see a stranger and you'll do anything to get their attention!.Do you run into them with your shopping cart? do you drop a book in front of them at the library? Do you ask them a dumb question in class? "WE ONLY HAVE ONE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION. Teaching Cyrus to "fish for himself", being Totally out of character and sweet, was his way of making a good first impression i just can't help being pissed at Disany for not having the balls to have a season 4. Clearly, the now famous "bench scene" was meant to be a cliffhanger and a season ending, not the end of the show.

It has been a while as I spent some time not uploading due to technical errors which I mention on my community tab. Your theory about TJ is nice even though I happen to think differently. I don't believe he already had a crush before meeting Cyrus, but rather that upon meeting him during the muffin scene, he instantly felt drawn to him. It wasn't a crush just yet. He was only attracted and wanted to get to know Cyrus/be friends. And then I believe TJ gradually began falling more and more in love with him, and that it became a crush either after the swing set scene or after he told Cyrus about his learning disability. And then I think he realised his feelings for Cyrus after the gun incident.
I can tell because of the look on his eyes, that Tj fell deep and slow for Cyrus :']
