- Hey! my name is Jennalyn, after being an LVN for 5 years now here in CA I’m on my way to a BSN!. I chose to share this experience because I'm one of those people who looked to UA-cam to help me get honest reviews and experineces of products, schools, you name it! so here's my piece as a nursing student. :) thank you for watching!
BSN Program start date : 1/8/2024🎉

I want to be updated on the whole journey! I’m graduating LVN in Jan 2025 and really want to do nightingale LVN to BSN!! But feel clueless because I don’t know how much works
You got it! Congratulations!!!! and no worries you've got plenty of time to get all the info. So excited for you :)
Hi! I am enrolled as well for Spring 24
So excited :) being a LVN for 7 years
I am from East Bay California and looking forward:)
Hey! That’s amazing! If you’re not already in the Facebook group for California Nightingale Learners I highly recommend checking it out! They are so helpful with questions but sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming😅
Thank You :) I will certainly check it out & bummer I couldn’t start in January as we have been together:) but it’s still good :) thanks for the video
Hi ! Did you end up enrolling?
Congrats,🎉 I’m finishing my second semester! Also from Ca.
Thank you! Super excited and how do you like it so far?!
I am hanging in there since 2 year . Like it so far
Thank you for the Video.
thanks for watching!
❤loved the video I start nightingale Sept 3rd,2024. If you don’t mind me asking what you used to study for the hesi exams you passed to test out of?
Congratulations! Yeah no worries I used Quizlet as a SG and just searched up the class name. There’s not a study guide closely to what the test will be but it was good practice! I didn't take the course itself that's why but if you take the course with a HESI some teachers might give out study materials?
Hope this helps
Hello! Which program did you apply to exactly? When I’ve called they’ve told me they are not receiving California applicants . Lvn - ADN or Lvn to Bsn ? Or straight Bsn program ?
I’m in the BSN program and yes they don’t accept California learners for the LVN-ADN program
I already have an associates degree in psychology, so I could get into this BSN program correct? Are there any requirements to get in other than the admissions test? Thanks!
You would need to submit your transcripts for evaluation and they’ll tell you what else you’ll need! There also a list of the pre-requisites and classes on their website. Classes you’ll need to take in Nightingale are different for the state you’re getting licensed at I think! Like for Cali it’s required to have college algebra and stats but for other states it might not be necessary for both as an example
How many months is lvn-bsn bridge?
Hi! Depends on how much of the pre-requisites you are able to transfer for me it’s 5 semesters so 18 months
Hi, I’m considering this school but my question is how do they go about lectures? Are they live or pre recorded?
Hey! the lectures are live and require you to be in it via Microsoft Teams and are recorded as well for students to go back to. BUT it also depends on the professor and class if it's necessary. We go through CANVAS to turn in all our homeowork and get the link for the live webinar. Hope this helps!
@@student_jenn yes, helped a bunch! I will be reaching out to the school for more, but that just pretty much sealed the deal for me!
Good luck on your nursing journey!!
@@student_jenn thanks a bunch 💜🩶💜
How many classes were you able to clepp
Girl! Lol I ended up failing the College Algebra CLEP sadly… I got a 40 and I needed to get a 50 to pass but it’s okay! The exam was really confusing for me so I didn’t do so well 😅
But! Nightingale will take College Algebra and Western Civilization 1 CLEP forsure
What’s clep
Hey girl! CLEP is College Level Examination Program basically lets your take an exam for the college classes that you need for General Ed classes without taking the class itself! Here's the link to get more info :)
CLEP - clep.collegeboard.org/
What did you use to pass the Hesi exams?
I used the study guides the school gave me and Quizlet! I took the Health Assessment HESI twice and passed it the second time. Just search the class on Quizlet and they’ll pop up! They aren’t exactly the same but it gives you an idea of what the HESI exam will ask
@@student_jenn thank you!!
Good Luck! @@jacindah1913
yes! I don't remember which exact Quizlet I'm sorry!! but I would just look up the exact title and name. They are all different of course but it's good practice!
