Oh sure, I see this AFTER I have sorted my axles, thanks a lot!!! Makes me want to dump them back into a coffee can, build this just so I can resort them! Very nice work!!!
Let me say this: WOW! I work on automated sorting and assembly systems often at my day job, you've done your homework for certain, nice design! Cheers :)
TheAllBlackMan well if the machine was faster it would be more rather into his own efficiency. You could save time like this if you have that many parts and God knows there are plenty of people that do
I used to work in the lumber mills industry and I programmed/automated stuff like this all day, controlling motors, encoders, hydraulic valves/pistons etc , the concept is the same to sort 2*3, 2*4, 2*6, 2*8 & 2*10 of different lengths
Wow. This is incredible. I have attempted to build a LEGO axle sorter 3 times now, and failed each time. I am blow away with your solutions to many of the issues I had. I am amazed. Well done.
An other great machine with 1 motor. Not as complicatied as I am used too from you, but again a great feet of enginering. Nice to see something different instead of a GBC module :) Looking forward to your next stuff
Your LMS S570 was superb... your GBC went viral for it's awesomeness... but this one doing all the steps needed to sort every LEGO axle with one motor is simply magnificent!!!
I reckon the lifting of the axles by scissor action and rejecting the excess ones, for when the sorter is not ready to accept more, is the real genius part in all of this. The rest is quite straight forward but still cool!
Garth Palmer Yes, but space isn't a problem. I just need to find an open plain, and here in Sweden, as long as I inform the Government of my business and ask them for their permission, it's all good.
Someone has been building for a long time to know how to construct such a masterpiece! --Plus, think of all the parts that went into making this GBC! Awesome stuff...
An old design concept but still neat to see in action. This is somewhat similar to how the old Linotype distributor worked to return the matrices to their proper channels in the magazine after casting a line of type.
Alex What I can tell is, they are sorted by length by moved over the various gaps , but I don’t get how they sort them by color, since there seemed to be gray and black ones of the same length in the mix...
If I had not seen this with my own eyes, I would not have believed it to be possible. Seeing this and the creator's other mechanical creations leads me to believe that anything is possible with Legos. This guy deserves my subscription: he has earned it.
Thanks. You won't believe how similar my next brick sorter is to your axle sorter. Especially with the spill-over technique for sorting. I've developed a nice funnel for queing the bricks though which you will like. Congratulations on this - best yet in my opinion.
OUR JAWS JUST DROPPED!!!!!! EXCELLENT DESIGN!!!! and this is an understatement, because we just cannot find the right word/phrase to describe this fantastic video/work
A real master, impressive! (I was also watching your other videos. I would love to be your apprentice (I live in Utah) Thank you for posting, it would be amazing and extremely educative to have videos of the creation process for your machines. Thank you! Dan
Interesting! I've always thought about something like this, but in my mind I've always conceived the pieces being sorted with holes which get smaller in length for each piece.
Simply amazing. Seems a bit over-engineered, but that makes just so much more impressive. It's not just very cleaver but very beautifully made as well.
Thats maad. As a suggestion; you should make a filter that sorts every lego piece into boxes. Then when you buy new pieces, you just put them into the machine and it does all the work for you!
Who ever the six individuals who disliked this are, you are a shame to society and probably didn't even comprehend what was going on. Either way, there is no reason these videos can or should be disliked. This is pure genius! You probably can't even get to two 2X1 blocks to fit together.
I like the fact that it's only old fashioned Lego Technic. No Mindstorms or sensors - just mechanics :P I remember that speed controller from my Lego trains :D
One of the most practical lego machines I have seen. The engineering here is incredible.
I think the true ultimate lego creation is a machine that would completely sort every standard and technic piece in existence.
that would be so noisy
Proof or it does not exist
The human being, the perfect machine
SnivyAndroid l l,m
Yik Long Tay that's including colors isn't it.
Oh sure, I see this AFTER I have sorted my axles, thanks a lot!!! Makes me want to dump them back into a coffee can, build this just so I can resort them!
Very nice work!!!
DargoDog
おy
It'd be funny if you used up most of your axles just making the sorter.
Just imagine... You build a Piece sorter but you don't have pieces to sort, 'cause you used them to build the piece sorter... frustrating
So then you take apart your piece sorter to have pieces to sort, but now you don't have a piece sorter to sort your pieces.
@@bibasik7 this is the type of torture they use in hell
Nice one
@@csgas0 lmfao
Let me say this: WOW! I work on automated sorting and assembly systems often at my day job, you've done your homework for certain, nice design! Cheers :)
This is so mesmerizing. I would love to observe this up-close.
This person put quite a bit of time and effort into his laziness.
TheAllBlackMan well if the machine was faster it would be more rather into his own efficiency. You could save time like this if you have that many parts and God knows there are plenty of people that do
d3u1d4e maybe you mean Engineer... 😆
Aeris Reyha Hubris being #1. >
“Work smarter, not harder.” :)

Here I am with my 4 brick lego airplane ... And on top of that, it always falls apart .....
It never ceases to amaze me at the amount of engineering feats that can be pulled off just just lego bricks.
Lego is the best toy, for adults and kids alike ;)
Great build!
This legit the only contraption I've seen that would be faster automated. Well done man this is sick!
and thus skynet was born.
+loui828 soon it will try to find Sarah Conor and sort her!
ARNOLD - GET TO DA CHOPPER!! NOOOOOOWWWWW

Did You Mean Terminator Lol But All His Videos Are World Records
lol that's funny

Almost 1 MILLION VIEWS! unbelievable cool model
Unreal! Epic! Superb! None of those words even come close to describing how awesome this is!
You have graduated to "Elite Grandmaster Builder" Congragulations :)
+DesignJunkie58 Wow you just realized. Hes been "Elite Grand master Builder" for um forever. HE is insane smart
Incredibly intelligent engineering :)
Excuse me, what's the amazon link for this product?
Just build your own
This is probably still the best design concept for axel sorting, alot of other designs tend to not sort the smaller axels very well.
Welcome back to why tf is this in my recommend (Engineering 100 btw)
Because you keep clicking. UA-cam isn't dumb ;p

I wonder if he can make it work with coins
I think it’s possible but it would be quite difficult
@@avic6069 super easy, Just build a slope with holes from small to big. The big Coins roll over the small holes until the hole is big enough. Cheers
@@clypeum5063 just like that machine from Cardboard on UA-cam 😂👍🏼

*Technic and Bionicle builders would like to know your location.*
You are amazing at Lego creations. Words can not explain how awesome this is.
Does anybody know if there are axles that are 5 long in black?
Yes there are. Folow this link to BrickOwl, and click on black. You can buy them there
www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-axle-5-32073
Thanks
only gray )=
Tj & Ja There has just been someone commenting they exist in black, and this comment was 3 years ago. I don’t think he still needs them
You could try lego.com that's where I get my lego bricks
I am very impressed. Fantastic design and execution.
Wow, and driven by only one motor!
Wow, what a fantastic piece of work!
now if only you could make this to sort lots of other pieces too
Given infinite money, I could probably make something like that. I could even make it sort them by color!
ilikebiskits cool, but wouldnt it be huge if it sorted tons of pieces?
Garth Palmer Yes, but space isn't a problem. I just need to find an open plain, and here in Sweden, as long as I inform the Government of my business and ask them for their permission, it's all good.
ilikebiskits how are you going to sort them by color?
mrunitegaming Mindstorms.
Driving the hopper, loader, and sorting mechanism with only one motor. Nicely done!
"Why must it be LEGO?"
That question is nonsense. It's men's dream.
I knew this would be a genius piece of engineering but then that moment when he pulls the box of axles out... Heavenly.
Today, I built a dirt house...
Wait, wrong toy... Carry on.
Purely for the sake of its self and for the pleasure of building it... I love this.
I tot it was a piano
Nonetheless, James May will be proud
I love these industrial style machines you make with ev3, keep going!
Why are you so awesome?
Because reason
Xenath Cytrin because he can!
Because dad is a engineer 😉

Bravo! Incredible.
Year is 2021 and I still can't see anything else than that dub bossman
I just dont like the Red small pins in Bionicle.
Breaks color schemes. But its the only ones I HAAAAVVVEEEE

I cannot express how much I love this machine
I wouldn’t even know how to start building such a device. Good job.
Love that little axle separation mechanism

Awesome. Always enjoyed watching your builds. Keep up great work!
This is pretty cool! So creative and aesthetically pleasing to look at! Subscribed 😁
What a mastermind 🤯 congratulations to this masterpiece of engineering!!
Wow, Just say wow, and I usually don't say wow, but that, it is wow. Congrats akiyuki, you deserve it.
I hate hunting for axles. Where has this been all my life. Lego should sell this as an accessory.
my gaaawd. this is sooo cool. the sound of it is soo hypnotic!
You have to sell this and the GBC as sets!
They are so amazing!
Excellent build. Very therapeutic...I can go about my day now. Thank you!
You my friend will never have an issue finding a job. Don't bother sending a resume, just link them this video. :) great job.
Fabulous piece of mechanical design.
Now I’m gonna have to build an axle sorter! Awesome design BTW.
OMG post instructions and i will love you forever this is the coolest thing i have ever seen!!!!!
Alexander Cann can you imagine how much effort this would be. I know it because I am making Instructions :)
When I was a kid I always dreamt about being older and being able to buy as much lego as I wanted. This video has made me pursue that dream.

I love akiyuky's designs and machines.
This is Genius!! Now if only it was small enough to be built easily. Still brilliant and I want one!!
This is just beyond what "Leg godt" - it's not just playing, it's engineering. I stand in awe.
Would love to see more detail as to the method by which the sorter subassembly separates lengths.
There should be a Nobel Prize award for such genius!

Mass production of Lego inventions
I'm seriously impressed. Very cool!
The rods have different lengths according to color. The reds are very short. The even sized ones are black and the odd sized ones are gray.
Best thing I've seen this year!
Reminds me of the sawmill, we have a step feeder and a dropsorter, works on similar ideas
Outstanding. This is the kind of thing people want to build for themselves.
wow i think a tear fell from my eye. beautiful.
Well done. Very clever design. Hard to get Lego to do anything reliably, be rigid enough etc.
Wow that is an amazing setup, must have taken a long time to create.
