My Grandmother in TN made us biscuits and gravy no matter the time each time we would visit from MD. It was an honor me daughter got to eat her biscuits and gravy as a toddler on a visit before Grandma passed a few years ago.
For me back in the 70's here in Southern Oklahoma breakfasts were mainly Oatmeal, bacon, toast with butter and jelly, and milk, occasionally we would have bisquits and gravy as well as pancakes. I'm 60 now and my breakfast is usually just coffee, milk, bisquits with butter, jelly and even peanut butter thanks for the delicious memories of breakfasts of the past.🥓🥞🧇🍳
My grandson’s love biscuits & gravy, ESPECIALLY the 18 yr old who is also learning to make the sausage gravy without measuring anything!! It’s actually one of his top 3 meals.

I had to make Eggs In A Nest (or Eggs in a Basket) after watching this.

I used to like warm cream of wheat cereal with cream and sugar. I remember my mom making cream cheese and olive on buttered toast.
ABSOLUTELY great video guys!👍🏿
Alot of these are still enjoyed today .How do they figure they vanished. They are full of dog crap.
Sausage gravy is something my nanna makes for dinner it’s my favorite
Why say "ham and banana" while showing jam and banana? 🙄
They vanished because women don't cook anymore. Even the socalled sahms. They just stare at their phones all day every day.
Ah no, not correct. I cook every day. We eat very few processed foods and only go out to eat once, maybe twice a month.
