Lot's of AC haters here. As someone who is open to anything, this looks pretty good. As someone who has owned a turbo 4 stroke, a 600 in a light chassis is not a bad option. I think it would be foolish to believe there isn't a bigger engine plan for this along with a new gauge. Honestly, this makes sense. Get this into the hands of people who want it for what it is, a new groundbreaking chassis and when they tell their friends how well it rides, the turbo comes out and it will be a big hit.

Yeahhh --- I'd say they got slightly dusted again. It's 'better' ...but they did not hit the mark IMO.
    *600cc engine (minority of interest)
*dated cockpit (not even talking about the gauge) - so many angles in the plastic - meh
*composite plastic ---yeahhh i see that as a problem in minus 40...for strength and cracking. (maybe not in the first year, but just out of warranty)
*I have seen a few vids now, and notice lots of inside ski lift - I wonder when brands will start going back to the ol Polaris trailing arm. Be kind of funny actually...
Anyway, I am glad to see Cat back in the game - is Yamaha copying this chassis too - or is that discussion for a diff video? I think Cat needs Tucker to do a rebranding (kind of like Blair Morgan did for Doo) and redevelop some things. This would be a good start to that platform - make some improvements and fine tune it - with an 850cc.

My 2010 cat has a better track than a brand new polaris..Polaris engines came out in 2019 only a year after the ctec and skidoos been blowing up there same engine since 2016... both brands arent changing there time bomb anytime soon. I've seen mutiple doos and poos being towed out for blown motors under 500 miles... it's not a turd when you have never ridden one I hate people like you all you can do is talk shit but have no evidence to back anything up at all. You have probably never ridden a cat before because a new cat is 100 times any sled made in 2013-2017. They are not the same sled at all nowhere close. They said they could get anywhere an 800 class engine could and it was fun. They said it will be the best handling snowmachine on the market with more horsepower next year but it was so fun with the smaller motor. You have no clue how hard it is to make a completely new sled Polaris and doo haven't done that at all Polaris since 2013 with thr axys first on trail sleds which was just a tweaked version of the previous years... skidoos using the same exact shit skid for 20 years theres mutiple youtube videos about it cats gone through a ownership change no other company did that either and only in 2017 it took them one year to change so much in 2018 like I said look it up there's way more things changed on cat recently then the year after the alpha new handle bars skis new tracks. No company has made a new sled in decades all the same frame with "tweaks" this is a new sled they used no spare parts. The frame is not the same all the other ones have the same frame same layout just narrower side panels and tunnels than the years before... oh and a touchscreen gauge you cant use in snow when it gets wet... anyways the steering is all new the frame is a total redesign from the ground up the drive train driveshaft the tunnel is actually new not a cut down tunnel off previous years like poo. New running boards new seats. They have the easiest hood to take off now. You can actually reach let alone see the spark plugs unlike other brands. The only thing on this sled that's the same is the skis possibly and the handle bars. The A arms are different the shocks are different unlike other brands. Just watch the podcast from snowwest when these huge guys are telling you they are going to order this 600 over another sled and they ride different brands... also have them quoted saying it will be the best mountain sled on the market next year with more hp. It will be the biggest stock motor without a big bore kit next year too so with this chassis these guys loved so much with the biggest 2 stroke tf do you think Polaris and doo will have to build a new sled completely not using there same old frames to get the same effect as this sled sounds like. That will take atleast 5 years minimum. And also they don't even have the parts to make the ones they have now.... all the other brands did was focus on cutting cost and raising the price of there new sleds cheaper lighter not as strong plastics and cheaper thinner aluminum tunnels also raising the price 10 grand for a turbo kit that's been on the market 5 years before.. Im not defending anyone I'm stating facts. No other company has done a complete redesign in 10+ years let alone a new motor in atleast 5 for poo and 7 years for doo. Skidoos been using the same tmotion skid since 2013.. even on the gen 4s. All you people talk about is "new tech" what's new on them oh I forgot a (touchscreen gauge) lmao the brands your defending use the same old ass tech just make it look pretty and add a hippy gauge that's impossible to use once wet so they can sell the same old chassis. Oh yeah and add a turbo to an already unreliable engine.. we covered that right I've seen and helped people tow there brand new sleds out for blown motors but hey warranty right just need that Warrenty every year for a Polaris track every other year for the engines on both brands maybe in-between it being in the shop you can get a tan because your down for the winter every other year. Hey just buy a new sled every year like most people do because the previous year has so many problems and they want the new shiny changed plastics and gauge you cant use. Those 850s have been blowing up since they came out. I have 5 new cats with thousands of miles between them no cracks in the stock clutches and the motors are running strong. I have not experienced any of the problems some people say on any of my sleds. I wouldn't talk tho is all I'm saying people talk so much shit before you actually ride one second this will be the newest lightest and biggest stock 2 stroke hp sled on the market next year sounds like from the only people who have actually rode it!!! Not me saying it and without a turbo which most retards don't even know how to ride I know mutiple people who own them it's just like owning an iPhone it's a status they don't even know how to ride them when they do they say they are hard to predict out of control and don't ride very well. Maybe in higher elv they would ride better and only in deep snow but with a trash track idk. Everyone I know personally does not like riding them and is trying to sell them has been for awhile.. Feel like a broken record just ride one you can't call something a pos when you have seen a couple photos of it... a real mtn rider can get anywhere a 800+ can go with a 600 sled even the older ones but especially now. If you actually know how to ride instead of hp your way out of things which isn't that fun tbh way more fun playing up the hill then shooting straight up... your not a very good rider if you mostly rely on a turbo to pull your ass out instead of knowing proper technique to actually ride a sled not let the sled ride you up the hill.

@MikeinCt no brand has developed anything new just tweaks and anyone can slap an existing turbo or big bore kit on a 5 and 7 year old motor like doo and poo did... this is an actual new sled not tweaks its a new frame all together.
