I know this is old but I'm living in Mexico too. My story is different from yours because I was already fluent before going to Mexico but at least you want to learn and are trying. I'm sure you have improved a lot by now.

That's a good video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

I am so happy I found your video. I have been here for two years and everything you are saying is exactly how I feel. It is so hard to use the right tenses and I feel like I learn better from book work as well. I eeven have the same workbook. I practice at the mercado, with my boyfriend (but we usually speak english), with my new family here but it takes a lot of time and effort. Thank you for showing me I am not alone!!!

I have been with Baselang for 3 years. I just bought the 4th edition Complete Spanish Grammar based on your recommendation. I use Baselang for conversation daily, but their course is poor.

Wow, we have so much in common with our language journey . Except I’m not in a Spanish speaking company. But I laughed out loud when I saw the book you’re using to learn because I have those Practice Makes Perfect books for the grammar. I love them and have used them for years. Anyway, thanks for the video.

Great tips, thanks! In think you're making great progress especially considering the fact that you just really got started a little over a year ago. Did you consider getting the automatic translating device called Vasco? I wonder if that would speed up sentence formation.

Hey there. I love your video. You are determined to become more advanced and fluent. One suggestion. I do it in my classes. I let the students speak the way you did it, i never stop them till they are done but I am writing down those little mistakes, they made and then go over them and have them correct them. Speaking skills are way too important but also grammar. You must speak without being stopped because by doing so you are improving fluency and pronunciation but coherence and structure should also be considered. You did great by the way. Your pronunciation is not the gringo kind. I love it. Very chilanga. Whenever you want we can do some visual conversation on google meet and practice. I can prepare some activities thru it. Examples of those tiny mistakes you made. Fui al parque para correr, you shouldve said a correr no para correr. People would understand it though but it shouldve been a correr. Your structure is way too good, Congrats. Do you have an email, so that i can send some stuff to help you. I am a certified English teacher.

You should have a good bye phrase in Spanish, like the bye you say but in Spanish, first you say it in Spanish then in English, cause your bye at least for me is your trademark. Byeee... Me like it! That's how is written right? I'm Mexican by the way.
