Listen folks! To all of the fans and Alumni @ Cookman. We ought to be honored for other college band programs playing are signature fight songs. We already gave them a mouthful of evidence, so leave it be. Man, economy going down people killing families, gas going up. We have to make sure we got we made reservations for The Classic in time..... So stop trippin'!!! Move on people. Btw, I'am a fellow alumnus of The Marching Wildcats of BCU '98!!!
I am a former Bcu student and know for a fact who composed LET'S GO. His name is Kevin Gilliard. He was a Sax player for the Marching Wildcats in the mid 90's and wrote and arranged the song. Don't believe me all you have to do is google his name. I'm sure it is flattering to him that so many schools have borrowed his song but let the truth be told. This is and always will be a product of Bethune Cookman University.
i like this wouldve been real nice if they put alternating slide when they chanted second time i love the way they pushed that tempo to that was fye TU never ceases to amaze me
@SkegeeLover I agree! if you're going to criticize TU for "stealing" it, then you better get prepared to criticize a MILLION other schools, because i hear this song EVERYWHERE!
I'm here for the music and this joint Rocks!! The crowd determines if it's dope or not.. Everything BCU plays is not Original to BCU.. Lolol.. Lames.. If you ONLY played what BCU made it'd be a short performance!! Lol 👏🏾
@SkegeeLover But did you know that it IS originally a Bethune-Cookman song? Don't believe me? Well, a Bethune-Cookman STUDENT arranged the song years and years ago and BCC (at the time) used it 1st. I know my band history ;) Whenever i hear other bands play it i cringe a little bit to hear other schools yelling let's go... even though I'm slightly honored.
@SkegeeLover HOWEVER.....and it's a BIG HOWEVER, the song originated at Bethune Cookman College in Daytona Beach Florida and is played best and recognized by the Marching Wildcats of Bethune Cookman University.

lmao, how do you take a fight song?, it was composed for one university as their unique fight song, its okay if a high school plays it, but another university...i mean..
@quakentigers well maybe you should get out more cause i know for a fact that alabama state university, albany state university, howard, hampton AND morehouse play this song. oh and famu
Whoever said FAMU plays Let's GO is crazy...FAMU would not be caught dead playing anything that is a staple of BCC...(no shade) however, I will say Tuskegee this is a direct copy of BCC's version...Albany State's version has a twist to it...doesn't sound identical...but hey to each his own!
