Thank you so much Krystal and thanks so much for hosting this challenge also❤️
I love it, it has all the worn vintage feels.... Fabulous ❤
Thanks so much Lel❤️
And Marty😁
Wow Lavonne all those paint inlays and transfers took this piece to another level. You wont have a problem selling it, it is really beautiful!!
Thanks so much Dar❤️
LaVonne, it's really beautiful. I love the soft colors with the varied design, the mould with the rose is so precious.
Thanks so much Kat❤️
I love all the different patterns you used. Absolutely stunning and great job with this transformation!
Thank you so much❣️
This is absolutely gorgeous! Wow what a transformation!
Thank you so much❤️
Hi LaVonne! I loved the Tattoo design, and I love your new design too! You made excellent use of the inlays, transfers, and mould. Super sweet piece! Also love the sunflower jeans!🌻👖Your videos and creations are always a jolt of joy!
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Aww, you are so very sweet. Those jeans were supposed to be roses when I ordered them but they came sunflowers 🤷♀️They're fun anyway! ❤️❤️❤️
The after is definitely the one that I prefer! It’s a beautiful color.
Thank you Kay!❤️
She’s absolutely gorgeous ❤
Aww thanks, Jenna❤️
Lavonne!! What a chic piece!! Really wonderful!! Lots of work but it paid off well. I know it will sell now ❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Andy❣️
Poor Girls Surf prep. 😂😂 I am cracking up.. lol I'm with you girl.. I love those pads and if I close my eyes when sanding, it's as if I'm Surfprep'ing instead of Bosch'ing. LOL .
Hahaha. I'll have to try closing my eyes!! Thanks for watching❣️
Whoa, I have been thinking of doing the same thing with a wet dry vac and sander, very cool to hear about your experience with the combo! Stellar renew, the results are beautiful😮 Thank you for being a part of the challenge
Thank you! And thank you so much for hosting! I just wish I would have done the sander vac thing years ago!!
Very springlike, just lovely. Gotta sell this piece for a 'pretty-penny' given that the inlay and transfer are quite costly... Much better look than the original. Hope you win!
Thanks so much, Lady❤️
Looks good 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you 😋
Thanks for showing the various painting techniques. I wonder whether the lack of sale was partly from having a molded piece sticking up on the flat writing surface (behind the glass knob). There is an even bigger epoxy piece there now. As a shopper I would find that off-putting, since the special feature of the chest is the writing desk. Please give an update on whether you are able to sell it with this new look!
I will do that Evie. Good point but I think there is still plenty of writing surface left. Thanks for watching❣️
Did it sell yet?
No I still have it! 😞😘
I love it at the beginning😢. It just needs the right buyer. I'm sorry to say I don't like the second one as much.
I know, I loved it too but no one bought it so I had to try repainting it
With the mold on the inside of the desk on the writing surface you can't write anymore
There's still plenty of surface to write. It was necessary to cover the bolt.
I seriously can't believe someone would do this to a piece of furniture. It's truly ugly now.
What does a truly beautiful piece of furniture look like to you?
Guess you didn't see the first take video on the dresser which was all about tolerance and realizing content creaters are real people. Whether or not they choose to paint or restore a piece of furniture or whether or not they have tattoos and the "traditionalists" don't feel that's appropriate for their woodworking entertainment, they're still people, and this a creative medium. It's ok that you don't like the style of the furniture after she was done, it's not particularly my style either. But her skill is obvious, the time she dedicated was important, and I was still able to find both value and entertainment in the video. It's cool what she does. Furniture is utilitarian and art is subjective.
@@Arionlappy OK. Things that are posted on UA-cam are going to get comments, both negative and positive and I’m sure the creators are aware of that. I’m sure this person makes other pieces that are really nice but the reality is this one isn’t.
@@briemills9209 while yes I'm sure they're prepared for negative comments, it seems to me that the negative things someone is willing to write in a comment are far more biting than what they'd say to the person if they met them in real life. I just can't imagine going into someones antique shop and seeing a piece of work like this and saying what you wrote to them. So again, totally fine that you don't like it. Totally fine to even express that you don't like it. But I'm just pointing out that there's a real person who made the thing and posted the video, and to consider someone's feelings when critiquing their work is always a nice thing to do. Even Simon cowell had to lighten up eventually.
@@Arionlappy thank you for defending me and all other creators❣️
