I think people are getting confused on what the last TDE album means. It’s not his final album for ever . He’s just not going to be with the label anymore. He has his own label company PG Lang he will be dropping music from there . He’s website has hella files that are empty one says important.

Even if it is his final TDE album it’s definitely not his last album. Kendrick rap game wise has just started and he’s got years to come to give us amazing music

Kendrick is still under Dr. Dre’s label Aftermath. I think people forget that. Him signing to Aftermath too allowed him to go mainstream.

@@thedon0516 I think he will stay under Dr Dre’s label the same as Eminem. I knew he would eventually leave TDE it was just a matter of when. He has to wait in line for all those other artists to release music when he can pull the trigger at virtually anytime under the Aftermath label. Dr Dre always approves his album releases. TDE doesn’t have the money or leverage like Aftermath.

@@thedon0516 this is the last album on his deal it was a joint venture with Aftermath to facilitate his releases thru Interscope
Also not impossible that he does a Frank Ocean Endless type of a thing where he surprise drops another album (his last TDE album) just before Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers which would then be a PG Lang release. He’s been away for 5years, I don’t think it’s crazy to consider the possibility that he has made two albums in this time. If I had to get more detailed with the theory, the first album could be the rumored J.Cole collab album, that way it also wouldn’t drive away the hype from Mr.Morale & The Big Steppers as it wouldn’t be a solo album. Idk, just feels weird that he would release a PG Lang album while still under TDE and while still having a TDE album under works at the same time.
I feel you and I appreciate you posting your thoughts here. As you said, since he’s been gone for so long i expect this not just to be a normal album drop but as you said something like endless. Maybe also in the matter he released it (as a movie, etc.)
