Carl I've got an idea for you, try and connect with musician in Pakistan, grass roots, youtubers, and do a music documentary on Pakistan in pakistan . A lot of UA-cam are going over there lately to taste the amazing food and amazing scenery of north Pakistan. You could do a different take .

Bro only one thing you didn't talked about which was actually most important is the boy sung the song from Standard E tuning which one scale higher than the original one. Its good that by generations we still got our classic songs from all around the world and new people are singing them more better. Never to forget creator then creation and finally fusions

you talked over some of the best parts. you said nothing about the amazing harmony, especially right before the second chorus. you said nothing about the Sitar guitar, the India bongos. There are so many cool things about the structure of the song that did not seem to register with you...
The india bongos are called Tabla. And they're used all over the subcontinent. Esp Pakistan and india

Due to poor situation in India, lots of Indians left for Western countries compared to Pakistan where situation is not that poor,. Those Indians instead of improving condition back home, just focus to do propaganda against Pakistan lol

Please please please do more coke studio songs I'm absolutely loving these videos. Some of the songs you could do are shikwa jawab-e-shikwa, chal diyay, aaqa, bibi sanam janem, sammi meri waar and aaya laariye. Trust me none of these will let you down as far as the vocals go

U missed so much...in the 2 verse he dropped an octave came down to head voice...before 2 verse u said nothing about the flawless. No mention of Indian bongos , perfect meter, perfect space between notes...there is so much more
