I don't get how a guy who killed two people, kidnapped a child/teenager and broke into a store and badly attacked a woman would be out of jail so quick? I know they are just trying to add drama for the show but I don't think he would be out if this happened in the real world.

To have him go after Brooke again was just as stupid as letting him out after she testified and told them it’d be a mistake to let him go. It was completely unnecessary at this point to have him attack her again, it would’ve been better and more.... everything had he gone after Tara. I know this is a fictional show, but to think they let people out they easily/quickly... Especially after a strong confession from one of his victims, is extremely terrifying.
I hate the way they dismissed Brooke (and Julian’s) claims etc.. against Xavier and didn’t take it seriously. Even for a fictional show the system is f’d up. They don’t take it seriously, take action until someone is physically harmed (AGAIN)... or dead. Then act like they give a damn and try to issue bs statements....
