I completely agree - there's something meditative about it. Except for when it doesn't work. Like spending 2 hours yesterday trying to troubleshoot my compressor install 😅
@@ericwashi I will say I've owned a power wagon, a zr2, a ram 2500 diesel and finally decided to buy a van and ugh what have we been doing in the overland community😅 van life is so nice. Fully setup don't even need to leave the vehicle if the weather is harsh. The way I built my van I can carry 2 pallets (I have a 159in model) still when my bed is put away. I just carried 2800 lbs in the rear all I do is clean out the cargo area then it's back to adventure van. It's like a swiss army knife the only I can't do is put dirt in the bed because I don't have one but I can hook up a dump trailer to my van and get dirt that way. Got a microwave ,air fryer , shower, seats for 4, a larger dorm fridge with separate freezer...etc but yeah I used to be an overlander like you till I took and arrow to the knee found out how awesome vans are 😅.
2nd gen Tundra ftw! Best gen BTW! I may be a little biased though! 😉😆
Heck yeah! I absolutely agree!
Going to be a great series! Congrats on the new truck Rachael and Eric!
Hope so! Thanks man!
Thanks, Baxter!
Awesome job y’all!!!! Can’t wait to see the next step in your build!
Thanks, Jeff! We’re excited to show y’all!
It’s just the beginning!
Excited for this build series! I have the same truck and am just starting my journey building a trail ready rig.
Awesome! Hopefully our series will give you some additional ideas!
Heck yeah! I have a feeling there’s a lot of Tundra owners ready to play ball.
Are there minimum build requirements before I can sign up for an MSO trip?

Glad to see you bought a proper V8 tundra. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏
It was an easy choice!
100%!
That thing is going to be sweet!!
Just you wait!
Hell yeah brutha!
Awesome Eric! We love our 2019 Tundra!
Right on! So much more left to do!
We love it!
Nice job y’all! Wiring has always been cathartic for me.

Yeah, Eric did a good job on the wiring!
Damn Eric thank you so much for bringing Rach into this build. Thought I was going to have to see that Jason guys mug on this build... 🤣
LOL
It’s always the 10 mil that gets lost lol. The wiring looks great!
Always…and thank you!
Always!
Should have bought a promaster van 118 with a pop top👀
We considered it! Maybe if we were full time! This truck has to do double duty as our family adventure rig, and an MSO guide vehicle.

@@cch201992 I bet! I can pretty much guarantee you that there’s going to be a van in our future. It just might not be the near future 😂
Wow, yeah, #vanlife - that's a whole other level!
