I really liked the background for Exes, it's really an art. As for Whenever Wherever, I enjoyed the splash as Shakira sang the title of the song. I saw a little of the MV and a wave splashed, so it matched a little, haha!

You Love Who You Love (I didn‘t know the song, but I love me some Zara Larsson, this song has been stuck in my head ever since I saw this teaser, I LOVE everything about this map, the style, the background and the CHOREOGRAPHY, I have a new winner!!!) (10/10) 2. Exes (Hot For Me meets Level Up, dude this map looks so fricking sick and the fact that Tate gets another song in the game makes me so so happy, love it a lot) (10/10) 3. Whenever, Wherever (the map is giving me mostly Euphoria vibes, maybe it‘s the stage she‘s dancing on, I love the choreo, those hip movements, it‘s really Shakira coded and I love it, the only thing that‘s a bit weird is her hair color, she looks like the sister of Shadow Rider) (9/10) 4. Stop This Fire (I missed these kind of songs from Just Dance, I loved Run The Night and Keep On Moving, glad we get such a catchy upbeat track again, the choreo could be a bit better, in my opinion the coach is a bit too stiff) (8/10) 5. Another mixed bag of a weekly drop! Here's what I think... 7. Sleigh Ride 🦌 It's cute, but I'm not a fan of the stop motion maps. I respect they take a lot of time and effort to make, but I prefer when it's an actual real life human dancer showing us what to do. It's very sweet, but the song feels a bit random and in my mind, our Christmas stop motion map to cherish will always be Think About Things from JD22. Why did we need another one? 6. You Love Who You Love 🔍 I get the lore and story going on behind it, but I'm not a fan of this lore in a game that's not meant to be taken too seriously. I don't really know the song that much and maybe it could have been given a better chance without the lore and detective stuff holding it back from what it could have been about. Another song could have been used to continue that story, like some of the ones I heard being rumoured to possibly finish this story, because they might have worked better to give this song a more Zara feel because it doesn't feel like one of hers. I mean, the background is nice, but the coach REALLY isn't for me. 5. Basket Case bathtub version 🫧 sooo still no extremes? But a seated version is a good idea! I like the setting of a bathtub being how the coach is sat down and the movements through the hands is really prominent so the choreo gets you moving despite sitting down, which is what other seated versions lacked before. The background and coach design have the same art style as the original, as you said, and that's what I like too. 4. Move your Body 🕺 I KNOW IT'S ALREADY HATED BY THE COMMUNITY BUT IT LOOKS FUN AND JUST CHEERFUL SO YOU CAN HAVE A BOOGIE WITH YOUR FRIENDS WHICH IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME CUZ IT'S LIKE A LIGHTHEADED KIND OF SILLY AND I LIKE IT!! 3. Whenever, Wherever 🌊 YEAH I'VE WANTED TO SEE THIS SONG IN THE GAME FOR SO LONG AS WELL!! The background is really pretty, and the coach is one of the best designed we've had in a long time, I love her hair lol. However, this song isn't my favourite either, and personally, while I do want to see this song here, maybe a clever alternate could be put in there to use Whatever by Ava Max because that samples the whole rhythm and beat of this song, because if that ever came in the game, an extreme is a MUST HAVE!! Just an idea that probably won't happen, but anyway! I like this one a lot anyway! Moving on! 2. Stop this Fire 🔥 Interesting. So, this is a Ubisoft original song? I actually like it. The coach is another one of the nicest designs we've had in a long time, and it really looks like my style of choreo that I could really get into. I like the background and just, entire concept of the map with that kind of, I'm getting an Alice in Wonderland feeling from the plants and the like behind the coach. Really going on the fantasy route I always like. 1. Exes 💔 THERE WAS NO QUESTION. THIS WAS GOING TO BE NUMBER ONE AS SOON AS I SAW THE SONG! HELL YEAH! And while I don't like the recycling of coaches, giving them a SERIOUS GLOW UP THAT ACTUALLY SUITS THE SONG with the coach being reused BECAUSE THEY SUIT THE SONG ALREADY changes my mind on this case! She looks really cool, and I NEED TO LEARN THAT CHOREO RIGHT NOW!! This might be the best one we've seen for this game so far (cuz there haven't been many good ones lol) alongside Poker Face. I did it before and I’ll do it again, here’s my ranking: 1. You love who you love - I’m sad that it ain’t Symphony, but at this rate, they’re gonna have to give Zara her tribute map (which should be Symphony), I love this choreo, but I wonder why it’s a detective-themed map (I wanna hear an excuse other than “it’s because it relates to paparazzi lore”) 2. exes - not as good as greedy, but the choreo still ate. And now I really want them to add what would you do 3. Sleigh Ride - y’all will look at me weird for this one… but I actually really like this one 😭 (I’m a sucker for holiday maps), although this one ain’t as good as the JD24 Christmas map, it still gives me *FAT* cozy Christmas vibes and I love it 🎄 4. Whenever, Wherever - We got Shakira back on Just Dances b!tc4€s!!! (What was her last song? Chantaje in 2018? I forgot), the outfit could be better *IMO** but I love everything else 5. Move Your Body - this is karma for y’all being too hard on the cow 😭😭😭 And I hate how the coach looks like a certain inappropriate shape. UFFFFF!!!! Se ve que el full gameplay ofrecera demasiado tengo curiosidad de saber como c verla completa Love Who You Love: esta creo q fue la q mas me gusto, es q el baile si lo considero mas mi tipo y algo q quisiera bailar en frente de los demas para presumir lo bien q bailo xddd, no pero enserio me gusto por su cantidad de pasos y por lo rápida q era Basket Case ALT: MMMM..... Week 4 was mid Whenever wherever is finally here that really suits wasterra and the inspiration really comes from the music video. (In the future will probably get Loca (Any version), Try everything and I can’t remember to forget you.) Sleigh Ride is awesome, something about the Claymotion/Stop Motion map feels a similar resemblance to Rapper’s Delight and Shine a little love; plus the cover version is actually pretty good considering it’s based of “The ronettes” which I’m glad we have another Christmas song - But I’m still not satisfied I want more. Stop this fire is going to be the Crazy Little Thing for this generation - in a way this doesn’t feel original because it’s basically “Better Place” though this map is possibly going to appear in Just Dance VR possibly since the trailer played it to promote it. Move your body is somehow much worse than Halloween’s Here and to make it more worse they gave us a song that nobody has ever heard of - it’s not even a good troll song either, if they wanted to do a troll song it should’ve been these following songs: Becane (French Motorcycle) Crab Rave Pedro Toka Toka Astronomia Whistle Ladyfingers Bike riding Spring in my step And/or After party (Ok I pull up) You love who you love gave me a stab to the heart - The detective was a girl, the lore continuation after paparazzi is cool but damn it symphony managed to get virally revived and I don’t know if will even get the song now and have to wait for either a season or JD26 base game. Exes is a good as the second to last song for Tate McRae, I noticed the Woodcrow Stadium meaning it’s part of the high school where moxie goes to as well, and the coach though does look like an updated coach from Hot for me. Week 5 will come across by the next week but we still don’t have a song patch of September yet, I believe will secretly get big sets of songs by October when we reach the final weeks just like last year. I believe the catalog needs to go from 300 to 500 when the game/dlc releases in stores.

Another mixed bag of a weekly drop! Here's what I think...
7. Sleigh Ride 🦌 It's cute, but I'm not a fan of the stop motion maps. I respect they take a lot of time and effort to make, but I prefer when it's an actual real life human dancer showing us what to do. It's very sweet, but the song feels a bit random and in my mind, our Christmas stop motion map to cherish will always be Think About Things from JD22. Why did we need another one?
6. You Love Who You Love 🔍 I get the lore and story going on behind it, but I'm not a fan of this lore in a game that's not meant to be taken too seriously. I don't really know the song that much and maybe it could have been given a better chance without the lore and detective stuff holding it back from what it could have been about. Another song could have been used to continue that story, like some of the ones I heard being rumoured to possibly finish this story, because they might have worked better to give this song a more Zara feel because it doesn't feel like one of hers. I mean, the background is nice, but the coach REALLY isn't for me.
5. Basket Case bathtub version 🫧 sooo still no extremes? But a seated version is a good idea! I like the setting of a bathtub being how the coach is sat down and the movements through the hands is really prominent so the choreo gets you moving despite sitting down, which is what other seated versions lacked before. The background and coach design have the same art style as the original, as you said, and that's what I like too.
4. Move your Body 🕺 I KNOW IT'S ALREADY HATED BY THE COMMUNITY BUT IT LOOKS FUN AND JUST CHEERFUL SO YOU CAN HAVE A BOOGIE WITH YOUR FRIENDS WHICH IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME CUZ IT'S LIKE A LIGHTHEADED KIND OF SILLY AND I LIKE IT!!
3. Whenever, Wherever 🌊 YEAH I'VE WANTED TO SEE THIS SONG IN THE GAME FOR SO LONG AS WELL!! The background is really pretty, and the coach is one of the best designed we've had in a long time, I love her hair lol. However, this song isn't my favourite either, and personally, while I do want to see this song here, maybe a clever alternate could be put in there to use Whatever by Ava Max because that samples the whole rhythm and beat of this song, because if that ever came in the game, an extreme is a MUST HAVE!! Just an idea that probably won't happen, but anyway! I like this one a lot anyway! Moving on!
2. Stop this Fire 🔥 Interesting. So, this is a Ubisoft original song? I actually like it. The coach is another one of the nicest designs we've had in a long time, and it really looks like my style of choreo that I could really get into. I like the background and just, entire concept of the map with that kind of, I'm getting an Alice in Wonderland feeling from the plants and the like behind the coach. Really going on the fantasy route I always like.
1. Exes 💔 THERE WAS NO QUESTION. THIS WAS GOING TO BE NUMBER ONE AS SOON AS I SAW THE SONG! HELL YEAH! And while I don't like the recycling of coaches, giving them a SERIOUS GLOW UP THAT ACTUALLY SUITS THE SONG with the coach being reused BECAUSE THEY SUIT THE SONG ALREADY changes my mind on this case! She looks really cool, and I NEED TO LEARN THAT CHOREO RIGHT NOW!! This might be the best one we've seen for this game so far (cuz there haven't been many good ones lol) alongside Poker Face. LOOKS GREAT!!

Totally agreed with the stop motion comment, I don’t like to say it as I also know the hard work, but I don’t like it, neither dancing robots, I need a human, it feels so natural and you can see real expressions!! Happy you liked Move Your Body hehe, and yeah!! We should have gotten Whatever by Ava Max, is literally what I thought when I saw we got Whenever, wherever. 1. You love who you love - I’m sad that it ain’t Symphony, but at this rate, they’re gonna have to give Zara her tribute map (which should be Symphony), I love this choreo, but I wonder why it’s a detective-themed map (I wanna hear an excuse other than “it’s because it relates to paparazzi lore”)
2. exes - not as good as greedy, but the choreo still ate. And now I really want them to add what would you do
3. Sleigh Ride - y’all will look at me weird for this one… but I actually really like this one 😭 (I’m a sucker for holiday maps), although this one ain’t as good as the JD24 Christmas map, it still gives me *FAT* cozy Christmas vibes and I love it 🎄
4. Whenever, Wherever - We got Shakira back on Just Dances b!tc4€s!!! (What was her last song? Chantaje in 2018? I forgot), the outfit could be better *IMO** but I love everything else
5. Stop This Fire - I like it… but that’s about it 😭😭

I wonder why we haven’t got any K-pop songs announced? I’m a huge fan of K-pop especially the ones in just dance and the fact that they haven’t announced any yet is a bit strange. Still though I do love the new songs we’re getting especially since I’m hearing most of them for the first time ever.

Wherever Whenever: POR FIN SHAKIRA DE VUELTA, ya andaba esperando este momento que volvieran a traer canciones de shakira desde el JD2023, me gusta todo el entorno como se va desarrollando conforme pasa el preview, el diseño de la coach me fascina, muy identica a shakira, lo q no me terminar de gustar es la coreo, espero q con el full gameplay nos muestre mas pls 😭

Week 4 was mid
Whenever wherever is finally here that really suits wasterra and the inspiration really comes from the music video. (In the future will probably get Loca (Any version), Try everything and I can’t remember to forget you.)
Sleigh Ride is awesome, something about the Claymotion/Stop Motion map feels a similar resemblance to Rapper’s Delight and Shine a little love; plus the cover version is actually pretty good considering it’s based of “The ronettes” which I’m glad we have another Christmas song - But I’m still not satisfied I want more.
Stop this fire is going to be the Crazy Little Thing for this generation - in a way this doesn’t feel original because it’s basically “Better Place” though this map is possibly going to appear in Just Dance VR possibly since the trailer played it to promote it.
Move your body is somehow much worse than Halloween’s Here and to make it more worse they gave us a song that nobody has ever heard of - it’s not even a good troll song either, if they wanted to do a troll song it should’ve been these following songs:

You love who you love gave me a stab to the heart - The detective was a girl, the lore continuation after paparazzi is cool but damn it symphony managed to get virally revived and I don’t know if will even get the song now and have to wait for either a season or JD26 base game.
Exes is a good as the second to last song for Tate McRae, I noticed the Woodcrow Stadium meaning it’s part of the high school where moxie goes to as well, and the coach though does look like an updated coach from Hot for me.
Week 5 will come across by the next week but we still don’t have a song patch of September yet, I believe will secretly get big sets of songs by October when we reach the final weeks just like last year. I believe the catalog needs to go from 300 to 500 when the game/dlc releases in stores.
Sorry about the late reply as I’ve been having A LOT of comments recently it’s been impossible to keep it up! Totally agreed with Crazy Little Thing, it’s similar to Stop This Fire, an ubisoft original that’s not “a kids themed” song! I really hope we do get a big batch of songs but it’s really late 😭.
