Hello Amy. Your blooms are gorgeous. The yellows are my favorite. I just don't have any luck with orchids.However, my Christmas cactus has been in bloom since Halloween! Each plant has its own personality.

What a beautiful showing Amy. Everything looks so vibrant and healthy and Jasmine looks so sweet and at home. I'm beginning to recognize all the names of your orchids now and my eyes took note of the one called Magic Art 👍 I still look out for finding a Legato, but no sign of one anywhere to be found. For the first time since I started owning orchids, I have about 8 that are sending up new spikes and I'm ecstatic. I think I finally learned not to water too much 😂 God bless to you and your family and thank you for all the tips over the past few years 🙏

Always a pleasure to look at your healthy plants Amy! The amazing noID Cattleya could be Brassocattleya Chian-Tzy Anierina 'Little Jolie'. I bought one a couple of months back with spent blooms.

Your neo, could bloom this spring. It seems big enough. I think you got it from hauserman. Mine came from them. Every third leaf down they typically spike. Beautiful orchids

Mine are doing so great this year, every year better and better as they mature.
My set up is very similar than yours but the blooms grow towards the window/natural light. Does yours do the same?
Hi Carmen! I'm so happy for you and your orchids! The spikes always grow and bloom toward the light. When the first couple of flowers bloom, I turn them in toward the room so I can enjoy. Happy growing! 😇🐕⚘️

How do you care for vandals in bark? I don’t have the humidity to grow them in the air and bad luck with semi-hydro. Please help
I grow this Vanda in moss and bark layers. (50% bark and 50% moss). I received it in October 2022 and I did a repotting video on it. It's been really easy to take care of. Happy growing! 😇
is it the age of the plant that causes the bloom spike to have that much branching going on? or is your culture?
That's a good question. I believe that it's both. The longer I have my Phalaenopsis orchids, the more I see the branching. But good care is also key.
My Christmas cactus did not bloom but the outer leaf tips turned a bright red color. Has this ever happened to you? Do you know why this happened?

I have a question about the halo lights, can you use a separate timer with these and are you using a separate timer? Thanks
You can't use a separate timer with these. The timer is wired into the light. 😊
@@OrchidWhisperer I bought one of these, so it looks like i have to manually turn this on everyday and set the timer?
@@nanci357 the timer is automatic. You turn it on in the morning, set it on 8, 12, or 16 hours, and it automatically turns itself on and shuts off after the set amount of time. 😇
