Ankit Chaddha the storyteller

I am still not able to grasp that Ankit is no more but I am sure wherever he is, people have sat in silence and are looking at him in complete awe. Ankit is in full flow telling stories and taking them to another world.
Just like he did when I first ever met him in Kabir Festival Mumbai in 2014. Here is a glimpse of the storyteller sharing the story of Hazrat Nizzamuddin Auliya and Amir Khusro .

Omkar Jadhav : This story is completely divorced from actual events. Hazrat Amir Khusro was not a soldier. He was not returning with loot as told by Ankit from a military expedition. This is totally false and an insult to a sufi saint that Hazrat Khusro was. In fact Hz. Khusro was returning from the King's palace with rewards and honours bestowed on him by the King. where he was employed as a Royal Poet.

The conversation between Hz. Nizamuddin Aulia and Hz. Amir Khusro was extremely refined, respectful and soaked in the tehzeeb of sufism and Islam; Ankit has got his act all muddled up as he obviously does not belong to the sufi or islamic tradition.

A A Brother Turk Allah means Soldier of God but it is nowhere mentioned that it was a loot from military expedition, a soldier of God can work in various capacities . Conversation between them was refined as you are saying. Ankit used to do thorough research on the topic before rendering it. Nor is it necessary that one who belongs to Islamic or Sufi tradition can only present this things perfectly because we can always learn about things. My kind request to you is to see the video in the light in which it has been rendered.

@@jayganatra1889 exactly.Ankit's research on Amir Khusro was something which is very difficult for many of us to believe.Ankit nahin ye uski mohabbat aur sachhai bolti thi.We miss him a lot.
