What caught me as crazy is that using stop on someone who’s staggering actually pauses the stagger gauge…. Paused dead in its tracks. Like, it sounds like it’d be common sense but you’d never figure the game would actually give it to you so you don’t bother wasting ATB or MP on the experiment . That’s crazy.

Limit is based on %hp damage taken and is not mitigated by perfect blocks or regular blocks. So you can perfect block an attack that would insta kill you and you'd get almost if not full limit.
You can only do it 1-3 times depending on the resistance and the duration also get's lower. But one thing that would've been very good for this would be a elemantal spell + swiftcast it would let barret spam 2 atb's spells like crazy.
It depends on the resistance of the enemy. No resistance - 3 debuffs Lesser resistance - 2 debuffs Great resistance - 1 debuff And the time also goes down with each cast. The 3rd cast will give like a second so it might seem like it did nothing. One important part for this build was Magic Focus + Time which increases the duration by 25% on all casts.

Didn't test anything with that move yet but limit seems to be always % based so it also should be decent to get limit meter with full HP.

Thanks and reraise can make it easier to utilize. You can spam limits breaks like crazy if you had a bit practise with it.

The worst thing any enemy in this game can have is no resistence to time magic.

I think its barret last weapon. Its called battle cry im not sure where you get that but it should be in a weapon shop after completing the game.
