@@rodneykeith2923 if you actually read that bill you will find it doesn't create or increase taxes on tips. It's been law since 1982 that cash or not cash tips are subject to federal taxes. The bill was basically increasing funding to the IRS to help uphold existing tax laws, and her point is that the existing tax laws to tax tips will be removed, therefore she isn't lying or going back on her word/actions. This might come as a shock to you though because I understand that it's hard for MAGA or their favorite political pundits or internet personalities to do anything other than read headlines
