    I was looking for a tutorial about facial expressions in Lens Studio, and by chance, artificial intelligence showed me your video. Thank you with all my heart for your effort, and I wish you the best in the future.👏🤩🔥

    Actaully this helped me with explaining some of the more techinical issues I couldn't figure out (such as the blinking never working correcly)
    When I did edit the expressions in Lense Studio I actaully changed how much they multiplied the shape keys to assure they actaully worked.

      How did you do that smooth edit thing at 6:07 ?

      Another question. I'm attempting to make the eyes on my Luigi from that filter I mentioned move. Because they aren't technically 3D round objects, I can't figure out a way to make them move. If you look at it I think you'd understand.
      How would it be possible, if at all, to make the eyes move with your eyes?

    Hey Mike! Thanks for another great tutorial. I've looked at this tutorial before and got it to work but this time around I have some issues. Like you, I used a skull model to import into to LS. I can tell that your model is only one plane, mine is two separate model - the actual skull and then the jaw underneath. I joined the models but still can't get it to work, do you have any pointers on that?
    Also, if you dont mind, I'm wondering how you could separate the jaw in your mesh so easily from the rest of the model but still have it joined as one mesh?
    Thanks again!

    Oh, is it possible to have a Snapchat Lens that could do 3D body track & facial expression at the same time?

    • @ModelsbyMike3d
      @ModelsbyMike3d  2 роки тому

      It is very possible, but there's a catch. The facial expression tracking works up close, but body tracking doesn't work as great up close. When you move further away, the body tracking works much better but then the facial expressions don't really work as well. It's a tradeoff depending on how close the user is to the camera. But you can use both in the same lens.

    mike could you tell me how to fix a problem with 3d objects such as helmets, hats, etc?the rear part of the helmet appears over the head of the model and doesn't go behind the head, could you please explain and help

      You need to add an occluder docs.snap.com/lens-studio/references/guides/lens-features/tracking/face/face-effects/head-attached-3d-objects/#face-occluder

    Instead of doing all those steps in blender could you find a face model on line that says rigged?

    • @ModelsbyMike3d
      @ModelsbyMike3d  2 роки тому +1

      Most likely not. Rigging typically refers to an armature but this method uses blend shapes. You can create blend shapes from poses using the rig, but no matter what you are going to have to do some setup.

      @@ModelsbyMike3d is their anyway to do those steps without blender?

    • @ModelsbyMike3d
      @ModelsbyMike3d  2 роки тому +1

      It does require the use of some sort of 3D software
