So this is definitely a concept teaser for the full album comeback “Sticker” on September 17th. We don’t know for sure if this will be exactly the concept for the mv because Dream did something similar leading up to their Hot Sauce album where they were workers in a cafe, but the idea here is kinda that they’re hackers under the cover of university students. It ties into their NCT lore and NCTmentary too with the dreams and different realities, where they showcased being observed while they slept. Idk if you follow the NCT instagram accounts or the members personal accounts, but basically leading up to this throughout the last week they had changed the NCT 127 account layout to say NCIT (Neo Cultural Institute of Technology) and posted pictures pretending to be college students throughout the day and then changed the layout again in the evening to the darker concept and posted the different looks. The members even changed their bios to say their graduation year and major, all relating to technology like engineering or information systems and etc lol they put a lot of thought into this!

This teaser left me shook. As a Haechan biased I actually almost died when I saw him with this, you know, lolly pop.. but yeah I am so excited for this, we waited long for a 127 comeback.
Btw, because you wanted to know, the T-Shirt with “Germany” and “Deutschland” (you pronounced it pretty good) has the federal eagle in the middle and surrounding it there are the coats of arms of all the federal states of Germany. :)

To understand this concept of the whole NCT universe and this teaser, we have to go all the way back 5 years ago when they explaining their concept in NCTmentary. The best I can explain is that NCT127 and Dream are the dream makers who control dream and realities like Inception Team, while WayV controlling space and time to keep NCT in check. So it's easy for them to jump into this teaser concept when they're like a bunch of hackers that will hack the shit of our mind again and again. Not that I'm complaining though hehe

Yes thank you. It's a full length album. And you are right about the album concept. They all have a dual life.. high school students by day and hacker by night. And they are releasing three track videos as well before the title track Mv !! So excited! Also they surpass 1.3 million pre order on the very first day of sales becoming the First of kpop 😄

Absolutely love the concept for this comeback. I mean like NCIT, love it. Idk if its just because i love school(ik don't hate me) or NCIT sounds like MIT, which is my dream school, but its NCT 127 so I personally don't know what to expect.

If you don’t already know, NCT has a very complicated concept linked to the SMCU (which all SM groups are part of, and some repeating themes are kwangya, kosmo etc)
This teaser kind of links with the SMCU and NCT’s core concept, which is about sharing dreams/empathy/ether/resonance, the NCTmentary series explains it (kinda) and the members have their own roles and powers in the NCT universe. And when NCT comes together as a whole they have videos that touch on the concepts as well (one of their NCT2020 performances starts with a little intro about ether) same with SMCU, I think there were videos for smtown a few years back linking all the group concepts in SMCU. Even their MVs have mentions of the SMCU world view - the recent one was Low Low by ten and yang yang where the entire MV is literally showing them getting to kosmos by plane, and showing that they have a kosmos passport. (Yang yang mentioned it in a recent interview and was like “look at our seniors and juniors; it was tough for them to go to Kosmo, but we got there with a plane”)
It’s kinda fun to watch ppl try to break down and analyse the videos and concepts hahaha this is the fun part of being a sm fan.
It’s so complicated even the members themselves are confused about it hahahaha (if I remember correctly, they gave the members a book abt the concept hahahhaa - I think ten mentioned it a few years ago on a live or sth)
