- Uganda's booming construction industry is compelling farmers to invest in tree growing. Eucalyptus is one of the tree species highly favored by builders. The tree is ideal because it matures faster and it is affordable compared to other tree species. CGTN Hillary Ayesiga has been tracking this new trend.

Yeah I have over 500 of ten years old where are the buyers please?
point of correction eucalyptus is a hardwood. The softness when nailing has nothing to do with it
1USD is too small for a tree that takes 8 years to grow. Was that a mistake? Was it the price of the finished product or the seedling?
Yes it must be a typo there is info on the Internet that shows otherwise haha
Under 2 years, the tree is 1 or 2 USD and is sold for scaffolding . A mature tree (8 years) costs more about 100 USD.
@@mikemike5973 it is not a typo.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
HOW MANY TREES CAN BE PLANTED IN AN ACRE OF LAND.
How much is a matured tree harvested at seven years????
About 80 USD.
@@richardsseruwagi1 I have 500 of ten years old I need buyers they are at the size of electric Poles
Bad journalism, a tree doesn't go for $1 maybe $100/tree
