Drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorder....and still a better performance than 90% of artists today.
Bro sorry i got so mad when i saw the first few words and i was ready to get so angry😂😂😭😭

@@BrianKim-ih4qh nope? amy's a legend
Niuna duda... Nadie cuenta un nivel vocal dee esa calidad
This kind of talent doesn’t come around very often - I miss her.
She was a freaking genius. It’s just so impossible to accept that she isn’t here singing her brilliant soul out anymore.
she sings terrible. only thing she was good at was doing drugs
Gone to young rip Amy darling

Don’t do drugs kids
She was a racist. But who gives a shit, she had a nice voice.
People are such hypocrite. I remember when she was alive: the ONLY comments on her you'd find on YT where all insults.
That old saying, "sometimes you don't know what you have until it's gone" rings true regarding Amy for a lot of people. People were too into what the media was saying about her rather than learning about her and listening to her music for themselves.
People like to abuse people that are clearly going through problems, until they die of course, then they're the most beautiful beings to walk the earth
lot of people who love her music probably wont even remember this happening. theyve come along and the music stands the test of time, that all they care about and dont really know the context of what the press would write about her at the time.
I, unfortunately, may have been one of those people once upon a time. A young kid who just saw all the bullshit media harassment and thought she was just a junkie. Now I can't listen to her without getting sad. Out of all the lyricist/vocalists this country produced this century she was and still is the best - and she would have only gotten better.
Who can insult someone with that voice and talent?
Answer: someone without a brain.
Im turning 30 this year and its only at this age I can really look back at how she was only 23 here and how being under the public eye could possibly hurt me so much. Looking at how I was at that age, I couldn't imagine being scrutinized the way she was and still holding my own.
Such smoothness, rich tone, so happy... its saad shes gone too soon
She's definitely ''one of a kind'' for sure.! Made it at age 23, and in 4-short years was gone.
Don't know why it still makes me mad that nobody could have forced or locked her in a place to detox,
that's all it would have taken, for her to stay alive. The world lost 40+ years of Amy's magic...!!!
Happy birthday Amy ❤️
We love you Amy
The world misses you, Amy. ❤️
Would love to go to Glastonbury one day:) greetings from Texas
I would love to go to Texas one day

Ah Amy - one of the most talented singers and musicians we’ve known. She seems lost here - and (sorry Amy fans) not at her best. Soon to be lost. One of the great shames of the modern music industry. We owed you a better future Amy - so sorry.
another beautiful soul gone way too early, rest easy 💐
💜💜💜💜💜🙈🙈 Amy!!!!!
woooooooow i was 20 ! the time is so fast and i cant believe it she passed away 9 years ago, like a decade

We all knew what was coming xxx
rest in peace to this queen. we all killed her.
Don't forget that father of hers 🤢
@@alanisbelen8968 Yeah like telling her that she didn't need Rehab when she clearly did.
Or pushing cameras in her face when she was hiding in St.Lucia.
Or you know, literally putting her unconscious on a plane to Belgrade to perform.
He loved the money he could make out of her.
@@evasbolci3005 that was NOT what hapenned in belgrade. She wanted to do the tour but at last minute she changed her mindn LikeI said mitch was not perfect, what he did in st lucia was horrible, im not discussing that. And at the end of the day she was the only one who could put herself on rehab. He gave her a shitty advice but it was Amy's responsibility to get clean and Better. You clearly saw Asif Kappadia or whatever his name is spelled documentary, they edited the interviews as they want and never told the truth about her. Luckily they are going to make a biopic about her, more faithful to who she truly was
@@alanisbelen8968 Lmao dude, you need to get your facts straight.
She went to rehab multiple times, her father decided to pull her out.
Her own childhood friends tried to hide her passport because her father wanted to have her perform two days after she had an overdose.
He literally kidnapped her and sent her to Belgrade after she said no.And I could go on.
He caused her problems with men abandoning her home when she was little and completely ignored her bulimia.
He is a greedy piece of shit and the biopic will be the dishonest and one sided as Mitch is.
The documentary was honest.
@@evasbolci3005 you cant pull Someone out of rehab wtf. Reg did 6 hours of interviews for the film. They put none. They left out all her 2009-2011 period, none of her Amazing 2011 Brazil concerts were included, when she looked stunning and sounded great. None of Amy's Friends wanted to be a part of the film, they didnt trust kappadia, only Lauren and Juliette did. He muddled completly the words of mitch and janis. You werent there, asif didnt know anything about addiction, I believe amys Friends and family instead of an asshole trying to have a good and tragic film. You can read both janis and mitch books, see and read interviews around that time, it wasnt as ot is showed in the movie. Real amy's fans know how much mitch loved and cared for amy. She had a family there all the time, supporting her.
Amy was 23 here...feels like yesterday she died
dbo514 🥺🥺
so young
holy fuck.... literally a baby still 😭
Right? It feels like yesterday she was just smokin crack.
ditooo aww she was a baby
Amy always played with amazing musicians. That drummer's a groove machine.
His name is Frankie Tontoh
. He used to work with George Michael too. I remember him from George Michael's MTV Unplugged performance.
Miss you Amy, may you find the peace you so desperately tried to find in life.
Cara...fico pensando se ninguém notou a doença dessa menina que era talento puro. Meu Deus !!! Onde estavam seus pais??
💔🥺
I’m old enough to remember how much media and people hated her.
Le Potato poor poor girl. Media fucking destroyed that talented Camden lady. Paparazzi glued to her. I reckon she’d still be here if it weren’t for the media and certain people. If you go back on some videos uploaded before she passed and find the old comments, it’s just joke about her looks/drug taking etc.
Paparazzi has blood on their hands
I’m so sorry that we’ve failed you darling.
Itpcu U 💔🥺

@Pete is never wrong we as fans.
@@yadiraochoa413 get over yourself
Nawiedzony Czlowiek we failed her as people, not everyone was “trying to help her”. If you look back in time you can clearly tell that it became a game of “who can snap the most shocking picture of amy”. She constantly got judged by alot of people.
Crazy what the press can do to people
հokцƽ ρokus get in the bin
Tiny lady with the big,big,voice.
I was there - she was awesome. Worth standing in the pouring rain to see her.
the crowd is so dead
Glastonbury is like coachella, they’re not crowd centric

The Guru they are you clearly don’t know much about Glastonbury this was a bad Glastonbury mostly because of the weather look at arctic monkeys performances
So is she
Shelagh Kratz dont say stuff like that
Who’s here in summer 2024?
Me 😂😂
I've only been a fan for a short time. First discovered her music in March 2020 and have been listening to her basically non-stop for almost five months. Though I remember, when I was only 7 years old and I read on the news, that she passed away. I don't know why I memorise that, but it seems to have been an important event in my life. I'm glad, that 9 years later, I am finally old enough to enjoy and appreciate her and her music. I wish I would've been born a few years earlier so I could have witnessed her while she was still alive.
When I was young I think I saw the rehab music video on demand which had music videos on
Good that she ´s also a part of your life! She is great. Gone but not forgotten....
Same. Her music came to me in March 2020 too!
Omg same i found her music this year and i feel strangely connected to her even though i was like 6 when she died
You should have seen her, it was quite something 😂 i get smiling everytime i think of her. She broke all the rules in music at the time and didnt give the tiniest fuck what the media thought of it. Such an icon
I don’t know why but she always makes me cry when I watch her.
There are certain moments in my life that Amy comes out and the tears roll down my face, thinking about her.
fr
Same here my friend
same
She’s so gorgeous. Her voice is breathtaking coming out of that smile
Jess glynne cover song for this song better. (At least her vocals)
she looks terrible and sounds awful. only thing she was good at was doing drugs
One of the greatest talents we’ve ever seen. Her ex husband and father should be ashamed of themselves. RIP Queen of Camden ❤️
Why should her father be ashamed? Seems to me without his love & monumental support Amy would have died long before she ultimately did.
@@LOVEisBLUE-k9j 😂😂😂 you’d be seeming incorrectly.

All I can ever be to you
Is a darkness that we know
And this regret I've got accustomed to
Once it was so right
When we were at our high
Waiting for you in the hotel at night
I knew I hadn't met my match
But every moment we could snatch
I don't know why I got so attached
It's my responsibility
And you don't owe nothing to me
But to walk away I have no capacity
He walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I'm grown
And in your way, in this blue shade
My tears dry on their own
I don't understand
Why do I stress the men
When there's so many bigger things at hand
We could have never had it all
We had to hit a wall
So this is inevitable withdrawal
Even if I stopped wanting you
A perspective pushes through
I'll be some next man's other woman soon
I cannot play myself again
I should just be my own best friend
Not fuck myself in the head with stupid men
He walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I'm grown
And in your way, in this blue shade
My tears dry on their own
So we are history
Your shadow covers me
The sky above ablaze
He walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I'm grown
And in your way, in this blue shade
My tears dry on their own
I wish I could say no regrets
And no emotional debts
'Cause as we kiss goodbye the sun sets
So we are history, the shadow covers me
The sky above ablaze that only lovers see
He walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I'm grown
And in your way, my blue shade
My tears dry on their own
Whoa, he walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I am grown
And in your way, my deep shade
My tears dry on their own
He walks away
The sun goes down
He takes the day, but I'm grown
And in your way, my deep shade
My tears dry
Her damn ex kinda caused her addiction leading to her death
She died from alcohol poisoning which was enhanced from her bulemia, not drugs.
She didn't die of drugs, she died of alcoholism and bulimia, which she had long before Blake .
She didn’t die from drugs. Alcohol poisoning. She was sober from drugs when she died. Ffs
Yeah, he was a cock!
He Didn't Kinda Cause Her Addiction He Caused The Entire Addiction.
This song was my ringtone when I was in high school. I still love this song and Amy’s voice and listen to it often. RIP Amy Winehouse (1983 Sep 14~2011 Jul 23) 🌹
I wish she can forgive us. You're a true Queen Amy!
she died doing what she loved… drugs
Funny how most ppl hated on her!! A phenomenal talent taken far too soon angelic different standout pure raw talent I will never forget !!
I saw her do this set at Glastonbury. Was amazing. Loved her music
her live performances are something else
We want her full performance. Is so good 💝
I remember when I was a kid my uncle telling me she died and how much of an insanely good artist she was. Only understand that now.

I love you Amy. Hope you’re having a blast wherever you are. RIP Amy.
not only we never deserved her but she deserved a better world
Theres always sorrow while watching beautiful Amy knowing what was ahead of her...God bless you Amy. We love you !,
A huge fan. Always have. She was brilliant, beautiful and her voice so original. He lyrics were straight forward and uncensored. Yes it was tough watching the health decline and watch it all on the internet where so many took pop shots at her. Too bad.
Eternal love to you Amy.
Every time I watch her I start crying 😔
Me too.
Even 12 years later, it will always be the same every time.
62 years of age I'm crying like a baby
Good Camden girl, well finchley... remember the impromptu ssing songs on the pool table in the good mixer. Legend
I remember I knew about her and her music a couple of months before her death. To this day I've learned a lot from her, form the music she liked and the musicians she admired 😭 We miss you Amy.
Nothing was ever the same. Miss you deeply, Amy!

The girl redefined the genre of jazz ! Only the young Angelina gives her the respect
she deserves when she honors her with not only tribute covers but aspects of her
own singing style. I believe Amy and Billie Holiday are reincarnated in Angelina.
Sorry angelina can only dream of being as good as amy
I love you Amy forever.
