Skipper, journalist and devoted family man Fabrice Amedeo was brutally confronted with this truism in November 2022 when a ferocious Atlantic storm forced him to bail out of La Route du Rhum, switch into survivor mode and evacuate his sinking boat.
Two months after nearly drowning in the Atlantic, Fabrice has now dusted himself off and is all set to go on a new boat he was able to acquire in January. His goal is to be on the starting line of the Vendée Globe 2024.
How did he turn a disaster into a new beginning? We were curious to learn from him and asked him to share is inspiring on stage at the Hager Forum, for a unique “Unbox your mind” talk.
