That’s definitely an issue with a lot of these companies they come and go with their products and that’s too bad. That’s one of the reasons we’ve always like. Hagan and aqua clear is because they’ve been around forever…… but this is a pretty awesome little canister filter. Thanks for the review, sir.

Well to be fair if you think about filtration and what is really is mechanical biological and chemical they have to be in this order i wont go into methods like absorption materials like zeolite as that's grander scale stuff but stick to the mechanical so scrubbing the water clean of debris then clean water hitting bio media also the water is a a slower rate as contact is also important so the bacteria can have lunch then if required chemical ,,,i use this very successfully in ponds tanks and aquaponic systems for a very long time ,,,its actually cool science lol
