Here’s some facts about the Terror Squad. They were supposed to be the next Hip Hop supergroup. You know like Wu Tang. Cuban Link and Triple Seis were set to drop albums in 2000. Prospect, Armageddon, and Fat Joe were set to drop albums in 2001. When Pun died, the group folded and never was the same again.
Fat Joe never liked Cuban Link. He didn’t even want him in the group. If you go back and look at an interview with the group on BET in 1999, you’ll see Fat Joe never introduces Cuban Link to the interviewer once; Nor does he even looks his direction. Cuban Link gives Fat Joe a mean look like n&99a are you serious right now?
It was no surprise Fat Joe couldn’t stand Cuban Link. I think it had a lot to do with Cuban Link being the better rapper and Joe hated him for it. Now Terror Squad did release another album in the early 2000s but it was nothing like this album. Armageddon and Prospect stayed in the group because Geddon, Spect, and Fat Joe go way back to the early 90s and those are his boys. Triple Seis left, and Cuban Link was blackballed from the group.
You spoke FACTS, fat Joe was jealous of Cuban link. and Cuban link wrote bars for fat joe.
Remember it started from the beginning. Link, Seis and Pun were a group when Joe heard of them cause they were killing shit. He only wanted Pun.

@@duparcg I think it had a lot to do with Cuban being a better rapper than Joe. Joe thought Cuban was going to be bigger than him if he blew up.
Also, when Pun brought Cuban into the group Joe wasn’t feeling him from day one. They never clicked, and when you’re in a hip hop group you must click and have chemistry. Pun’s death added more turmoil, and if Pun had lived, I think Joe and Cuban would’ve had a better relationship.

This is a Classic album! All of them are nice!
Pun, Seis, Prospect and Cuban Link were all close friends from the same hood and grew up together. Cuban and Pun were best friends. When Pun died Terror Squad became unstable and there was lots of drama. Cuban and Prospect were NASTY and Cuban was starting his solo career via Fat Joe. An altercation happened, Cuban got his face slashed by Joe's goons at a club. All of Puns original boys ended up getting blackballed from the industry by Joe. Super talented guys who had their careers ended out of spite. When 50 beefed with Joe, he made a group Bang Bang Boogie where he brought Cuban Link back and most of the songs were Joe disses. Cuban is still around, but guys like Prospect just went back to the hood and aside from a song or two went back to obscurity/normal life. Only ones who survived the drama were Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine, who aligned themselves with Joe.
That was definitely Cuban link on that verse before you paused it. He's no longer terror squad. But he has a remix of Tupac's “ hit em up" that goes hard.
