    LOVE the tee you're wearing! I'm knitting Ozetta's Moon Set Tee modified for a different yarn as well and loving it so far. Cumulus has been on my list and your version is convincing me, maybe a late summer project!

    Your intarsia too looks amazing. Florence Spurling is a designer who makes beautiful shawls and sweaters and other intarsia designs. A completely different style than this one yiu made ( more botanicals) but It’s worth checking it out if you liked doing it.
    Great episode again 💖🥰

    Love the intarsia top too! Have you tried the crochet hook method of provisionally casting on to your needle and cord? There are several good videos out there - it’s the method I use. It’s easy peasy and then you’re just ready to go.

    Your Intarsia Top turned out amazing! And I was totally thinking "good on you Mr. KnitWeekend" when he made the gift knit suggestion, and then we discovered his real intentions...his own gift knit! 🤣 Love how invested he is in your knitting.

      Hahaha! I think we meant more so that I wasn’t so stressed at the Holidays. BUT our anniversary is first sooooo 💁‍♀️. Thanks for the kind words about the Intarsia Top. I’m feeling pretty proud of it!

    I may have spoken too soon. I’m looking at your reels of each day of Knitting your intarsia top and see that by casting onto the Barber cord you did not have to unzip your provisional cast on when you were ready to go in the other direction. that’s a very good thing, because it’s easy to lose a stitch when you do that unzip.

      Hi Mary! Yes I’ve tried both methods and having the live stitches directly on the cord made life so much easier in the finishing for me, I think. I’ve used a video by Suzanne Bryan to learn that.

    Thank you for your kind words ❤ loved the colours of your Lea scarf (huge yellow fan as well). Also I considered knitting a light ranunculus as well after seeing it in well.loved knits podcast episode 😅 yours turned out beautiful

      I highly recommend a light ranunculus. I think it will get a lot of wear. We’ll see how the cotton yarn holds up!

    Have had no luck finding the intarsia sweater from Pom Pom magazine. Can you give me more information?

    • @Knitweekend
      @Knitweekend  5 місяців тому

      Hmmm I’m not sure about the top. The pattern I saw from her in Pom Pom was a scarf. Did you check Anna Husemann’s website or Ravelry? I think I purchased through Ravelry.
