📌 About this game
Super Auto Pets is a cute, animal themed auto-battler. The core of the gameplay involves trying to improve your team by buying animals with different abilities and giving them items, then at the end of each turn your team is matched against another random one and the fight plays out by itself. If you lose a fight, you lose some health, and if you win, you get a trophy. If you get 10 trophies you win the game!

Make an anything goes pack but you build it to have as little synergy as possible to see what people come up with
We've used completely randomised packs with no rules a couple of times and that's been fun!
I'm not really confident in my ability to make an intentionally bad one though 😆

Oh, I really like that idea! The only other one I can think of right now is blue ringed octopus, but I'll note it down and try to make a pack for that tomorrow

suggestions: 1). Polar bear only. 2). Rodents only (rat, mouse, capybara, etc). 3). Sea creatures only (new pack if possible). 4). Bat only. 5). On-sale/faint add an animal only (platipus, guinea pig, etc - however you can decide on the pack). 6). 25/25 only. 7). Sloth only (I know it sounds insane but I'd love to see it).

I'm still confused about how a betta fish is a faint/suppport creature... Like, it's a (usually) solitary fish that hates colorful tankmates, fin nibblers, or just because it hates the fish for invading their space. There are compatible fish and crustaceans, and we could devise a team of compatible species that'll benefit him, alongside changing the effect.
I feel it should gain some sort of stat buff (maybe plus 5/10/15 or 10/20/30 in each stat) if it's the sole creature on your team, or if it's teamed up with compatible partners that.have a certain perk or something.
Let's say they make an apple/ramshorn snail as a unit since they can be compatible with betta fish (nerite snails don't usually live in the same parameters). If it faints, it gives a shell that blocks 15/30/45 percent incoming damage to the strongest unit.
Next we can have a freshwater shrimp like cherry or ghost as a unit, if not both. Say, Cherry works as a "cleaner" by blocking incoming negative effects from everything but itself, while the ghost shrimp absorbs any "snipe" abilities and takes 20/40/60 percent less overall damage from them.
The last synergy unit could be a species of corydoras. If placed in the front of the team, it takes 20/40/60 percent less damage from direct attacks and prevents pierce effects, but it deals half damage (these are extremely durable fish, but also peaceful and wouldn't fight back against anything that attacks them).
All of these would have a passive "friendly" status that would allow them to be teamed up with a betta so he can keep his own buffs.

@@MCisverygood Doesn't have to, no, and nothing has to be changed. Just thought I'd throw out some ideas.
Betta having a support passive doesn't seem like a fitting role for it, and I thought it would be cool to have some more synergistic/symbiotic teams added to the game.
