A few years ago we purchased a chicken feeder and waterer kit off the internet. We love the feeders, but there's a big problem: they're fake. And that just doesn't sit right with me.

Loved seeing all the goatie goats, Ragon. Appreciate hearing the backstory of your chicken waterer/feeder, how much you like it but also just showing how pervasive it is that people's trademark/copyrighted/patented stuff is so frequently copied and mass produced by foreign countries. It's been an issue for a long time, especially in the arts/crafts world. Many handmade glass bead artisans have their design stolen and then mass produced. I appreciate your integrity and honesty in sharing what happened and pulling down the old video with the links, etc. Mulberries are so yummy! Excited for y'alls breeding/kidding season! Hoping y'all get some good does out of Possum. 💚🐐🐐💚
When we are raised with honesty & integrity it's impossible to let 'shady' things slide. I believe having a God based life & heart makes dishonesty even more appalling to us. We need to pray for discretion to see the deception around us. God will open our eyes. Prayers for you, your family & your homestead! God bless!

Does poultry pro own the design copyright/trademark to that style of feeder? They need to go after that company legally because if they have the true rights they can and that’s the way to deal with them not asking customers to do the dirty work
Design patent. Those are the words I’m looking for.
I've heard of other people with this issue, and from what I understand it's really hard to fight that legally b/c of the location/origin of the problem. I could be wrong, though.
@@GWPHomestead see at that point what’s the point of the patent?! There has to be a way for these original inventors and designers to protect their products. If you got this on Amazon, the patent owner can produce his paperwork of patent ownership to Amazon themselves and have fraudulent items removed. Amazon legally would have to oblige

Yeah you were duped the feeders you got aren't in any violation. all his patent covers is the exact shape of the outside portion of the feeder which is different than the ones you got. His patent isn't for the type of feeder as whole only the ornamental design of his feeder specifically.
Let's remember to forgive the Way Jesus meant us in the Kingdom to forgive, so we may be forgiven as we aren't perfect either. Leave judgment in His Hands and pray for those who perpetrate evil to repent. They are our enemies and we're to pray for them, but NOT excuse them 😊
We have an enemy and stealing and destroying is his whole intent. You are right - share the love of Jesus!
