Sorry so many comments. Struggle to post . Glad you went out and about Edmonton mall is biggest in the world but long way from Montreal 😅 Any ways take care my friend Cheers Mark 😊
Hello from Canada!! Glad that you got to see a small part of our country. Great shot of that engine shed from the CN Tower. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in mind for a small layout. I also love the lighting on your layout. It really adds some great atmosphere I think.
Thanks kindly. Yeah, Canada was a blast, think my daughter will go back again, she fell in love with it. I've got some more narrow gauge shenanigans up my sleeve. All the best. Brian
Wow what a trip, shame it wan`t for happier reasons, I saw the vid charlie done on the same shop Great place. basement layout looked fantastic to. I`d have loved that.
Thanks Digger, yeah, great holiday and some train bargains too, all good. Could've bought more, but weight limit on cases stopped me. All the best mate. Brian 👍
Seems like you got a great set of memories from that trip, not mention the goodies you have. Pity about the house deal falling through. Don't quite get why the timber framing was a deal breaker as here in NZ nearly all our housing stock is timber framed. Cheers, Arthur
Thanks Arthur, yeah holiday of a lifetime. I know what you mean about timber frame, when I was in Canada, I saw a good few new builds being constructed, all timber, with a concrete framed basement. It's just how it is here in the UK. All the best. Brian
Sorry again 2 off the comments dissappear. Sorry to hear about your dad mate. And hopefully you get mortgage sorted ..so you can move in .hopefully this posts 😅
