Kicks and jabs in TO are risky when in group fights. Most of the time it's opening you up to get hit by a 2nd or 3rd person who you are not directly fighting.

You got a tips to get better at the game (I’m usually top 4 in most games)

If you're usually in the top 4 then I'd say you got a pretty good understanding of the game so I won't give you basic tips. Without knowing your skill personally I can give some general tips to take your game to the next level.
1. Going Duel servers to improve your 1v1 skills. This is very useful if you want to play Man-At-Arms/Ambusher or any class that likes to fight on the flanks in TO.
2. Start to learn about respawn waves and timings so you can understand when is a good time to flank. It also helps if you want to be a good catapult player.
3. Get proficient with playing in both 1st and 3rd person perspectives. When you master both it gives you more playstyle options.
4. Learn each weapon on a deeper level so you can understand how to beat them. It also opens you up to the option of picking up whatever weapon on the battlefield and doing well with it. You can play raider and constantly throw weapons for free kills and pick up and use anything else effectively.

I would say Executioner’s is better in general for TO. Its slowness gives you lots of options to decide how an attack can be manipulated.
Battle axe is better in more confined spaces and objectives. Apparently it’s good for duels too due to high stamina damage.
