Well done.. I’ve had my Mp since 2003 and I’m still in love .. use a Leica for a day and there’s no going back..your comment about it being a loaner and not sending it back made me smile. Hope you fully recover soon.. I now how it feels too.. D.
Glad for you Timothy, and I will say i always liked how you ended up with a chrome m7, like i wouldn't say it's as odd as a duck as your Nikon-S mount Bessa, but for leica M bodies (other than the m5) it is probably the one that's the most love it or hate it unique body, so it seems like a fitting follow-up!
Congrats on the M7! It's a beautiful camera and you look so happy with it. I'm sure you've already captured timeless memories and shoot it in good health! The best way to get into "cheap" Leica M glass in my opinion would be the Summicron-C 40mm or a vintage Elmar 35mm, but the prices are going up and your Skopar 35 pretty much defeats the need for either one of those, lol.
Oh no not another plonker who puts crap lenses on a Leica body then swaggers around pretending it's a Leica! "Look at me, I have a Leica!" No you don't. Get a good Summicron first if you can't afford both a body and lens, then get a body later. Then, and only then, do you have a Leica. The whole point is to buy into the lens system.
Congrats! And its crazy, you look so much healthier in this video compared to when you were unboxing the M7. I’m glad you’re feeling better

That is so awesome! Glad to see that spark back in your eye!
Great to see you back!!! Enjoy that awesome machine!
Congratulations on owning such a fantastic camera! I'm hoping to visit the Ilford factory next year. It's only about 30 miles away.
I am so glad to see you back creating videos! (Never been a fan of podcasts...) No doubt it’s nice to have AE. Happy shooting!
Congrats on the Leica. Was happy to hear in the podcast that you went for it. You seemed to have always wanted one.
I know the feeling. That's how I felt when I got my M3 several years ago. There's just something about shooting with a Leica. Enjoy!
Same just got a m7 yesterday! Yayyyy

Great video! Hope you're feeling a lot better.

Congrats on the camera. I was the same way when driving to the UPS Store to pick up the package containing my M2.
What a beauty! And the color skopar is pretty good as well. Have fun with your new camera, can’t wait for the in depth review in the future :)
Looking forward to seeing more shots with this :)
I say we share joint custody of the Leica since Chris let me shoot it first. JK! Congrats bud. She’s in the best hands! :)
How so I get in on this borrowing a camera from Chris thing? 😉
Way to go, man. Have fun with that.
Yeah, man. Hahaha. Much love, Ted. Hope you're doing well, mate.
Thanks Ted!
Dude.. I though this was already posted. You got my hopes up. Lol. Ready for the video 💪👌👍🙏✌️
Cool. Is the M7 a crop sensor camera? I mean is a 35mm like a 50 mm in full frame?
Tim just ignore this comment I was confusing it with an M8. Good choice. It will give you picture love for many years to come!!
Glad to see that you have leica. Feel envy right now lol
Really cool man!
You left out a key part of the story! What sent you to the hospital, and was it a smooth recovery?
Treat her well!
What a beauty
"... shit yea."
Why ruin perfectly good TMax 400 by rating it at 1600??? Do you want to lose all tonality and shadow detail?
Ricky Earp it’s my style...been shooting this way for almost seven years.
Why criticize him for the way he wants to shoot *his* film?
no mask
I'm at home? If you mean receiving the package this was months ago...so?

sharpness is overrated, nerd
Calm down there Petey boy. Wouldn’t want you having an aneurism over something no one gives a shit about.
*kisses*
I agree with you, Leica is interesting for its lenses. That being said, you don't have to be a jerk about it.
Oof this is a bad take.
