Synth V male voice Kevin AI tuning test

I was gonna do a different original song for Kevin's tuning test but I wasn't liking how it came out so I pitched up my Stardust song for Kevin. It's just a test so I didn't change the tuning too much but I'd play more with the dynamics of Kevin's voice before uploading it officially. I didn't mess around with any parameters cause I was too busy with other stuff. I still wanna make a design for him I just have to finish a lot of art commissions first. I'm still planning on giving this song to Solaria / Stardust.
I gotta get used to Kevin like I did with Anri, but the I've seen everyone create so many amazing things with him! Overall I think he's a great voice and besides Ryo he has like 0 competition right now. (They don't compete they're boyfriends). Poor Genbu lol!!

I can't get him to sound this smooth. He always sounds like a teenager having a voice change in my songs. It sounds like you ran a filter over his voice or perhaps even autotune at points. This is not bad. Your song turned out great.

thank you! i actually didn’t use any filters or auto tune for this, i exported it as a mix down from synth v and uploaded it as is. i get it smooth by tuning it by hand instead of the auto pitch tuning!

@@eggtan3965 That would be so hard to do with a mouse. Do you know if there are any preset curves like, vibrato, etc built into the program so I can cut and paste them in on each word? I think this would speed the workflow as well. Vocaloid does this. I don't know why Synth V can't do this.

I love his voice but his demo is horrendous and even tho this sounds very good i still didn’t see anyone use him for the genre hes supposed to be used for (and I’m still not sure what that genre is)

I don't really think any of the synth v voices have to be used to fit a specific genre. Some voices are more capable than others and that makes them more versatile but any voice can be used for anything if you tuned it right. imo it all usually comes down to the user, not the voicebank. Also, I don't think he was marketed with a specific genre in mind anyways. So far I've seen him be used for musical theatre songs, jazz, blues etc and he handled all of it really well.

i think his kind of voice belongs in the same genre as solaria. their voices are both very flexible to any tuning style and dont belong in any particular genre. depends on how people use him
