    But can you also show it how to fill it in ITR. And definetly no one sale the share at the same time they sale it at different time to how the entries are adjusted. Also some people do first take the land and do construction so how are those entries shown

    LTCG for Indian stocks is 1 year holding period . If I sell that stock after 1 year and have capital gain - can't that amount be used in Section 54F ?? You mentioned that it is 2 years holding period. Please clarify.

    Can we put capital gains in 54EC bonds for sell of depreciating asset held for long term,like office shown as depreciating asset. If property is sold in December and can we put 50 lakh in January and 50 more in April. As per citation in Tax Guru, they have written that 1 crore exemption can be taken for depreciating asset. I'm doubting this. Only 50 lakh as usual or one crore in two FY, within six months. Please advise.

    If property purchase on 1990. Then cost of acquisition on 2001 is SDV or FMV which ever is lower . Or we take FMV on 2001 plz suggest

    if we use the money to repay the home loan of the eligible asset, then it won’t count? means, the payment should directly go to builder?

    Sir, glad if you help. I have one query. Capital gain is earned by selling property. Share of property is 25%. Accordingly I will treat everything like expense, cost of acquisition as 25% while filing itr2. But what amount do I have to put in buyers section, the whole sale consideration amount as per agreement or only 25% which I have received whiling filing itr2.

    If we sold 2 residential property in different FY and purchased one residential property, can i claim capital gain exemption for both property against the one property sold.
    Below is the example:
    Property 1 Sold in - FY 22-23 ( i.e in Jan'23) and Capital gain - 30 Lacs
    Investment in residential house in FY 22-23 (i.e. in Mar'23)- Investment Value - 60 Lacs
    Another asset sold in FY 23-24 ( in May'23) capital gain of 20 lacs.
    Can I adjust capital of 50 lacs arised from 2 properties and adjust the same with the investment of 60 Lacs in 2 different FY?

    Sir the vedio is very good & easy to understand. I have one query.
    I have purchased a plot 18 months back, now one customer is available who is intrested in purchase of this plot. In oreder to claim exemption ubder Sec 54F, can I sign agreement to sale with some token money now and actul sale the plot after completion of 24 months, i. e. Sale deed after completion of 24 months and then purchase a flat. I do not have residential property in my name but 2 flats are in the name of my husband, whether I am eligible for benifit under Sec 54F? I am filling my IT Returns regularly for last 12 years.

    We are 14 legal heirs of my grandfather's property, 12 of the heirs will relinquish their rights in the property, those rights will be transferred to myself and the son of my late father's deceased brother, who is also a legal heir.     I have one query if I had purchased an under construction flat 30 months back but possession will be in the next six months. Now I have capital gain of shares whether I am eligible
    Flat purchase date or possession date will be considered
    Secondly I have pending payment to the builder which is more than the value of share sold
    And in the same property I have to do the interior whether that amount is also eligible

    This is long case
    2017 - > Bought Unlisted shares worth 30 lakhs
    2020 Dec - Booked an apartment - 2.6 lakhs Booking amt
    2022 June - Sale consideration at 3.41 crores.
    3.41 crores will be paid in 5 year span from 2022 to 2026
    2022 - 1.02 crores (paid)
    2023 - 68 lakhs
    2024 - 68 lakhs
    2025 -54 Laksh
    2026 - 54 lakhs
    Cost of apartment is 1.2 crores including registration.
    Amt will be paid by June 2023
    House will be registered on Oct,2023 after completion of slabs.
    Interior starts and completes by march 2024
    I assume 1.2 crores+40 lakhs (interior work)
    Question:
    Should I park 40 lakhs for interior work in capital account scheme for interior work or transfer 40 lakh to interior guy before filing date . Can this 40 lakh exempted.
    AC,furniture,modular kitchen,change of flooring, electronics goods cost can be shown as house to be liable?
