I graduated this year in April (2022) and this song was playing in my heart. I had to put my blood, sweat and tears onto my degree and I made it! Now I'm doing my Honours in Information Systems at the University of the Western Cape and all I hope for is to succeed in life. All I can say to the future generation is to dream big and do not let your circumstances stop you from achieving your dreams. Obomi bunzima kodwa abumanga, every storm passes by and things will eventually get better in time.
Fast forward to April 2023, I have just graduated for my Honours in Information Systems. I’m so grateful for everything that has happened till thus far, I’m now working for the continent’s biggest retailer. I’m thriving and learning from my mistakes. I’ll never forget where I come from and I’ll never be tired of chasing my dreams. The future is still a mystery for me but I’m brave enough to face it and work towards it. Till we meet in another milestone in my life this song will remain my pillar of strength and my guide.
