I hope that you and your family are all doing very well and staying healthy, safe, and out of trouble.😮 I think it's really amazing that you took the time to make this video and teach card magicians about a gimmick card or a certain type of gimmick deck. Normally, a person will just show a new trick and the tutorial. Your idea to make this type of video is awesome, fantastic, and mind-blowing . Lol.😊. You aren't just teaching a new card trick. You are showing magicians what a certain type of gimmick card / deck can do to a trick and how gimmick cards can make a card magician look like a real artist . I only listened to the beginning of the video. I wasn't paying attention because i was doing 3 or 4 other things that had to with card magic. Im always doing things with cards and reading new tricks in my books and watching tons of card magic on UA-cam. I have been using more and more gimmick cards than i ever did before. I find it both challenging and rewarding at the same time when using gimmick cards in certain tricks that show an audience how impossible a trick can be, just with a gimmick card. I bought a few new gimmick cards before, and i started using them, and i realized that i needed more, so i started buying a few decks of gimmick cards. I have several one- way decks in my Ebay cart, but i realized that it's cheaper to buy several decks and make my own one-way deck. I was going to buy about 6 one-way decks , then i added 4 one - way decks for each ace in red, and that was going to be expensive. I think around 25.00, without the shipping fees. It would be more expensive if I bought 4 more one- way decks for each ace in the blue back decks. I have it figured out that if i buy 52 blue OR red back decks, then i can make a one-way deck with EVERY CARD, lol. If a deck costs 2.00, just for an example. Then multiply that times 52 decks, that equals 104.00. I would spend over 100.00 if i bought the 4 aces in each of their own one-way decks, along with about 7 other one-way decks, or maybe 5 other decks because it depends on what number card you buy and the suits cost more for Spades And maybe for clubs. I have the one-way decks in my eBay cart, and i have them written down with the prices if i bought my own decks.i need to remove them because i am broke now. It's better to buy your own, well, it's much cheaper. I have just been getting started with short cards. I was going to buy a deck of those cards. They are not very expensive. I recently bought 8 gimmick decks from Ebay. I have 2 dble back decks, one in red and one in blue . I bought a red/ blue dble back deck. I have a dble blank deck. A blank back deck w faces on the front, and a red back deck with blank faces and a blue back deck with blank faces, and i got a dble face deck. These cards are already coming in handy for me as single cards, and i use a few decks for tricks. I made a cheek to cheek deck with them. I love using short cards. I just started to use them to use as a force card, and i use them for other cuts to get to a certain position in the deck. I put a short card on top of a 4 card stack that needs to be on top of the deck. I started putting the short Card on top of a stack that belongs on top of the deck. Instead of shuffling or cutting the cards, i put the short card on top of the stack, and i put these cards in the middle of the deck. Then i riffle down the cards and have the spectator tell me when to stop. Well, im going to stop at my short card. This way, i can use the short card as a force card, or when i stop at the short card, i cut the deck, and the stack cards are on top of the bottom half. I complete the cut, and i put the top half under the bottom half, which still has the stack cards, still on top of the deck, where I wanted them to be in the first place. 😅lol. The short card ends up on the bottom of the deck, and it doesn't matter. Best wishes. HAPPY EASTER.
