Armor definitely does need reworked but i feel like the problems more that people are too use to how games do armor and want to be juggernauts rather then wanting what the armors actually meant to stop, they just need to do a better job at making hard plate armor and soft plate armor act as its real life counterparts, most of the helmets are kevlar and only really meant for redirecting the bullet in perfect situations more then stop it unless its 9mm fmj or under (pretty sure you had an altyn tho so that doesn't really apply to that one at least, but i could imagine a good shot to one of those could kill with blunt force alone), vest wise the kytek vest would only be kevlar on its neck and shoulders ceramic plates backed with kevlar for chest and back, and collector's would be kevlar for everything but the chest and back too, realistically nothing heres too much of an advantage over another its why we even see real life soldiers having debates about what armors are best and then there's even plenty that dont even wear vests all across the globe, realistically armors mostly been a trade off of some false peace of mind in exchange for mobility, with larger numbers its a moral boost and helps scare the enemy more, but if you're getting shot at solo in the open by someone who expects an armored target its practically just a cool looking paperweight slowing you down unfortunately
True! I think taking away the percentage could be beneficial. Like having a round has potential to go through or not should just be a yes or no. In my opinion the game should make the armor as simple as possible just so it saves a bunch of debates and upsets, but also I do know the devs want an incredibly realistic game like what you're explaining with the diff armors. Appreciate you watching and commenting!
