Soooo here is a theory: What if KT is working WITH the jailor in order to SAVE ARTHAS? everyone who played wc3 knows how loyal he is to arthas and with arthas being in the maw... you know where it goes from here🤔🤔
he wasn't this loyal to arthas. He is just smart enough to play along. He was probably in touch with the jailer even before arthas became the LK... since he died, probably going into the maw... to finally comeback. If the jailer ordered him to carefully serve Arthas, he will do. He always said he was following bigger plans... yeah it could have been the LK thing like "you killed me but i knew what would come...blahblahblah..."... but it could also been this^^ aka "you killed me, but i knew you would serve death...more than you think...wink wink".
@@GniinG If u do some research you'll find out that killing a lich isn't as easy as just destroying the body and KT is pretty loyal to arthas as arthas calls him his only true friend so i don't think he would switch to the jailors side just for some extra power

Interested to see the finished cinematic for Kel'Thuzad's "defeat." Say what you will about the story and gameplay, but Blizzard's cinematics are 99% incredible (minus the LOTR/N'Zoth ending).
Seeing our "Champion" kamehameha N'zoth into oblivion after Magni begged us to remember that we're a CHAMPION OF AZEROTH to break the mind control was the most embarrassing thing I've ever watched in my life.
@@j.l.4054 Well at least we know Blizzard likes DBZ a lot (like Kerrigan/Narud in Starcarft II)...But on the main point, maybe would've been interesting to have a cinematic of flashbacks of everything N'Zoth helped create/destroy (Deathwing, Emerald Nightmare), to flesh out the in-game lore. On the gameplay...there's been enough of that expansion so glad to move on to Shadowlands.
I dont know how they could've allowed the ''confrontation'' to be built like that. There is no meaning in it, everyone just rushing all around. You want to build it with some excitement? Have Kel and Kael fight 1v1 while you do some small tasks around the necropolis, I mean THEY are supposed to be the legendary characters, right?! Blizz now has built the ''legendary champion'', a player who can stand in kel'thuzads ice blast ( OR let Kel be fooled by mere mirror images 5:30) without blinking an eye, just spamming spells. I can say from farming mounts in old raids just running them through, I get the same feeling watching the new content. There is nothing in it, well the old raids have the thrill of the possible mount loot but that only lasts for one rightclick.
I can't fucking wait for the pre patch... Pls Blizzard don't let us wait any longer. And after the release of the pre patch : I can't wait for shadowlands 😂
Why does everyone still have access to their powers? We know that the living essences don't exist in the Shadowlands. This has been stated in the Bastion story line when they tell you that the Light and Void don't have influence over the Shadowlands.. So why can Kael'Thas still use Arcane, and Kel'Thuzad still use Death magic? If those forces don't have a presence in the Shadowlands, how do they have a presence in the Shadowlands? It doesn't make any sense.
@@LeystTV Realistically, the way it's been re-imagined in Chronicle, is that these forces are kind of like "The Force". They blanket everything in existence. They all exist in all space at once within their realm. (Ie. The living universe.) And people can simply tap into the energy around them and manipulate it. Druids do this when they manipulate the weather. Malygos was doing this when he was siphoning the Arcane energy through the surge needles and feeding it into the Occulus. It's not a power that's inside someone. It's an external force that people have the ability to see and touch. Those that are attuned to the Light can see and feel it's presence in the universe, and can touch it to manipulate it to heal or damage. Mages can see the energy of "Arcane" and use it to cast fireballs, or teleport. But if those essences don't exist in the Shadowlands, it doesn't make sense that anyone could use their powers. Because it's not THEIR power that's inside them. It's an external force.
@@Saimeren This bothers me too. But maybe it's because the shadowlands are open to the mortal world now, so all the forces you mention are now present there as well
@@Saimeren It also could be that because Shadowlands lacks of death matter that keeps shadowlands together, it may cause the world to get "influenced and corrupted" by other significant elements.

I just hope Arthas doesn't have a saga in search of redemption, I prefer to see him seeking revenge against the Jailer
@@1MultShot The fact that a key common amongst the returning characters is redemption, if Arthus does return, I believe there will be some redemption for him.

Keal'thas became Wretched by the end of Burning Crusade.
Here in shadowlands we see him in full glory.
Kel'Thuzad Became a Lich.
Here in Shadowlands; Still a Lich.
Shadowlands is such a weird concept. The fact that everyone who died just came back; so what do people do if they died in shadowlands?
This just seems like Blizzard ran out of story to tell and now they’re trying to bring back fan-favorites to lure people back.
When they die in shadowlands their anima is united with the land itself and the person cease to exist. That does not apply to you as a player though as your soul is bound to the titan Azeroth and not the shadowlands.
@@aedivian so just like when they said in the old lore if you died your soul went to the twisting nether?

@Wonder of U There's a difference between bringing back a handful of characters and bringing back like five expansions worth.
@Wonder of U In SL we have:
literally every single dead character from a previous expansion that isn't in the Maw.
WoTLK, an undead themed expansion, we had: some zombie bosses.
yeah, not exactly the same. nice try though.
Loving the story. I think this will be the best Covenant

Thanks for the spoiler about Kel’thuzad being in the game. Could’ve just had the title be “Venthyr final chapter” but nope gotta squeeze those extra views and screw over people trying to avoid spoilers.
that was spoiled months ago by everyone else, wowhead, mmo-c, everyone else on youtube etc. and im far from trying “squeeze” viewers. And if you actually knew my channel you would know that my friend :)
@@LeystTV Since you've needed to pin a post to say otherwise, it's pretty clear that you've just spoiled it for a bunch of people by putting it in the TITLE (including myself).

@@LeystTV It's nobody's fault but Blizzard's who haven't embargoed the betas for years now.
Soooo here is a theory:
What if KT is working WITH the jailor in order to SAVE ARTHAS?
everyone who played wc3 knows how loyal he is to arthas and with arthas being in the maw... you know where it goes from here🤔🤔
he wasn't this loyal to arthas.
@@sethadadk9771 i dont see the point with the lich... since... when arthas killed him the first time... he... wasnt a lich yet ?
and exactly... ARTHAS calls him his only true friend... not the other way around... helloooooo.
And i didn't said he switched side just for power... but he always was on the jailer side, from the beggining, and that it was all a master plan, and he played his role.
Is it kind of just assumed that Kel'Thuzad will be a future raid encounter again or no.
I'm hoping Kel is a only working for The Jailer to help protect Arthas. I just can't see a cat lover being a truly bad person.
Jesus christ it really looks like blizzard are out of ideas
Me seeing Kel’thuzad for the third time:
“Ah shit, here we go again...”
ikr 😂
I was hoping more to see Kel'Thuzad searching to find Arthas soul since it was his loyal servant, and for Arthas, his (onlly) friend. Traying to rescue him, even if it wasn't the Arthas he know, showing his loyalti to his king.
Didn't spect to lose the like of my coment for just edit a mistake XD

Why do liches exist in the 'afterlife'? Like...liches were mortals, humans or whatnot at their origin, their souls should be returned to normal, no? Why do they retain that form from azeroth?
I legit did not know he was in the shadowlands last I knew his phylactery was *somehwere* on azeroth.
Given the reunion of old characters, I have but one questions that I’m not sure I want to know the answer to...
Do dead old gods go to the Shadowlands..?

Interested to see the finished cinematic for Kel'Thuzad's "defeat." Say what you will about the story and gameplay, but Blizzard's cinematics are 99% incredible (minus the LOTR/N'Zoth ending).
facts 😁
My exact transportation, except I display the helm.
Since they brought back Kel Thuzad again.....there's a chance they will bring back Arthas for his redemption arc?

It doesn't make any sense.
actually a very very good question
@@Porkey798 Maybe, but it kind of seems like Kel'Thuzad was using his powers before we got there. It's also weird that the Kyrians wouldn't have noticed the difference when they say that the Light and Void don't exist in the Shadowlands.
