- Hi guys, just an update video about the KTM Duke 390 BS6 model that comes with Quickshifter+ which means quickshifter with auto blipper. Earlier it was not working like it should, but now it works like Pure Firepower!! Watch me enjoy my ride on my friend's Duke 390. With QS+ now working with a wide open throttle, I feel it really is worth every penny at the price point it is being offered at.
Finally quickshifter and autoblipper works in duke 390 just as duke 790

Bought this bike on March 2020 just before the lockdown. And I was always having notification that there is a problem in quick shifter + if I upshift and downshift like 30 or more times. When I went for the first service after lockdown got lifted, the software was reinstalled and now its really really smooth. No more quickshifter problem!!

Initially issue was there...
But people need to understand that the quickshifter+ on the duke/adv 390 is not ready to use after delivery...
One has to break in the quickshifter in those first 1000km..
And later after 1000km there will be 2 ecu updates...
One is unlocking the bike and update for the QS.
Hopefully newer models will get that firmware pre-installed.
Brother I have the first lot of the bs6 duke 390 it is still having the same problem so will i have to go to the service center and after doing the updates it will be fine?
@@BibhuPrasannaDash If you haven't updated yet then you must go and update your ecu to the latest firmware..
And tell them to tune your quickshifter and try to use it regularly...after every 200km you'll notice it getting smooth
@@prathameshjoshi885 Ok but I recently did my second service but when i asked them about the updates they said that the latest firmware is already installed then they did some quickshifter learning by connecting the diagnose tool but still not smooth as shown on the video and only shifts exactly at 5000 rpm not more. If you could give the firmware version it would be of great help.
@@BibhuPrasannaDash If you have done second service then firmware is upto date..are you having issues with getting the the bike in neutral? Because the adjustment below the gear lever should be 90°..(that may affect the engagement of the QS, if not)
You'll need to re learn it I guess, try visiting a different service center in your city, and if not using regularly...try to keep using it until it learns well when to engage when to not.
@@prathameshjoshi885 Ok i will do as ypu suggested but the quickshifter learning process is instant which is done by connecting the diagnos tool and yes while putting the bike into neutral its a little bit tricky sometimes and sometimes it is neutral still in the gear indicator it shows blank which is corrected by applying a little pressure in the gear lever without changing the gear.
Completed 2000kms on my Duke 390 bs6 and guys unlike the previous gen it's ultimate smooth and vibration free and quickshifter works amazingly.

We don't have the bs6 styling in America. It's our 2021 model that hasn't arrived in dealers yet. I'm waiting for it to come out before I buy one because I love it.
This machine keeps getting awesome. Only problem with BS6 390 is their top end is clearly compromised. My BS3 even after all the years reaches 165-170 without running out of breath.

It just a meter error bro in bs3 which was solved in bs4 and bs6 so yeah and when u drive the duke 390 u dont feel any lag like your bs3

They should help u and the problem should be solved software update, if any serious issue, pls mail me with your bike rc details and I will forward your complaint to the company folks.
I bought in October and mine work like Butter, must be tough luck to miss it by a month.

I started using quickshifter+ after first service ( at 700 kms ) .... and it worked flawlessly ... it gives you the same feel as driving an automatic car once you shift the gear without engaging the clutch.... it’s amazing!! A big plus for duke 390 BS6... Other than ground clearance no problems at all... it’s a beast!
How's the heating issue bro ? And maintenance?
@@karanghosh3352 no heating issues… Maintainence is minimal … in terms of servicing first three are free and cost comes under 2k….

Bro did you face vibration issue. It vibrates alot comparing to apache 160 4v. And the back break is too poor 😭. Do i have to go to the workshop to fix this or this problem is in every duke 😭? Please reply brother
And how much average you are getting after first service?. Right now without first service I'm getting aroung 20 for normal use. No overspeeding 😭

I got my 390 in September. The quickshifter works but for some reason 3rd gear gets stuck now and then. The gear lever just doesn't budge. Could this be something that can be resolved through a software update?

It doesnt have the pressure sensor , so you cant shift like a superbike. it will always act abnormal in high revs.

You need it while taking the bike off start in 1st gear and sometimes to modulate it in certain situations. There's no way it can be omitted.
In low rpm you need to engage clutch
