My colleagues have said there's been a lot of cancelled/delayed flights with Hainan Airlines recently, have you had any issues or are aware of any recently? Looking to book a trip post-CNY.
@@ferde-annorcullo1255 no, they don't with carry ons, not from my experience on 4 flights. But they do weigh your check ins though which is standard across all airlines.

@@escapade11822 Hard to say but to be honest it can happen to any airline. That's why I always buy travel insurance 😉
This is because of the Chinese army conducting military exercises in the Hainan Island. The army has temporarily closed the airspace in Hainan.
