I love your videos, and I say this with no intent to sound disrespectful, but man, you DESPREATELY need to clean up. I'm not just talking about organizing/displaying things, you need to sell/purge a big chunk of your stuff. The amount of boxes, piles, and just random things spread throughout your home is horrifying and would be awful if there was a fire. Keep what you really, really like, and get rid of everything else. Again, I mean no disrespect, but this is frightening.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
Dude did you even watch the whole video? He talks about how this whole “mess” occurred and what he’s going to be doing about it to make it better. “Not tryna sound disrespectful” come on bro… Watch the video and you’ll see he acknowledges everything you said and more.
This video actually helped me appreciate my collection more. And it helps me realize even more that I don’t need every single figure out on display. Like how I gotta bin my retro Hawkeye because I have the Skycycle Hawkeye.
if your figures arent on display, why even bother having them? may as well collect their promo pictures from internet, save you some space. what suck on collecting is spreading too thin. pick one line you CANNOT miss all character, and from another line, what you really want is nostalgia, so get the one or two important characters or that you liked the most to represent it. that is what i do. though i do admit i felt into this pit with hobby plane kits, i didnt expect each figure assembled to be 30cm-20cm . that is a lot of space
I already don't have enough space for all my figures. And I may have just cracked past 150 figures, earlier this year. Shartimus has thousands. And my family thinks I've bought too many. Started with Classified trying to get every release. Then slowly grabbed some Marvel Legends to fill out the 90's arcade games' rosters. Gave in and started collecting various Star Was Black figures. (OG movie Trilogy cast and some from the new shows that take right after the OG Trilogy.) Then the very occasional video game character. (Mostly high end. My poor credit rating!) There might be a few in those other lines I may get at some point. But, I'm going to cut down to just JADA Street Fighter, the G. I. Joe Classifieds I must have, and the occasional must have one of figure. Like, the TotK Link figma and the once in a blue moon Guyver figma. I'm seriously considering getting that AY Hayabusa, because it's Hatabusa, even though I'm not a fan of line's style. I was getting SHF Dragonball Z but, I'm mostly done. All I still want is a good Yamcha, a shirtless Tien, Perfect Cell, and A good Majin Buu. But, I'm going to wait on those until my spending end perpetual debt come way down. LOL So, Classified must haves, Jada Street Fighter, Guyver, Nintendo, and various occasional video game character figures. In 1/12 scale or close. Totally reduced, right? LOL I think because, I missed a few early on and the cost of it all, I was able to stop trying to get every single one. Plus, they they started doing "cherry flavored" (crimson) repaints, and more other repaints. It's good if someone had the "Marauders Spirit" instead of the original. That's why I hope we get the v2 O-ring Rock & Roll in Classified. I admit, I still want Tiger Force Lifeline as well as retro Lifeline in Classified. But, I'm skipping all the rest Sub-team repaints. Except new characters like Shooter. If they make Shooter that's not Night Force I'll skip it because I already have her. I might not even replace NF Ripcord with a regular one. But, Crazy Lags needs to be his classic design.
@@boidae8139 yeah I only mean like originally I imagine this was just a thing for fun but then the sponsorships started to come the more sponsors the more you have to buy their products
I recommend getting more nice heavy duty bins from Home Depot, the stackable yellow lid ones, and start organizing by filling those. Then start selling off doubles or things you’ve upgraded. And really consider whether the figure boxes are things that really add to the display, or just consume space.
Hey Shart! As a Nor Cal native I actually live pretty close by to you! I feel honored lol. I've only been collecting for a little over a year and a half now so it's incomparable to you, but even for me my collection can be a lot to deal with at times. Whenever I clean up the things I don't need and limit myself to only the essentials in the best and most possible, organized way, I feel SOOO much better. It doesn't naw or eat away at me from the inside knowing how much bigger and overwhelming it's getting. I know i'm not in your position though where it's both a passion project as well as a job. But I do believe there is such a thing as too much for anybody. I think it's important to have a separate space where it's just your home/family life and another where your hobby/job is. You're an OG collector and have MANY people who love what you do and what you've done for a long time. We're always by your side and supporting whatever's best for you.
You’ll find a new balance for what you need and what you want! Your content is a testament to your love for these fandoms and your family so we all want you going forward in the best way
Me too. I have some boxes for the absolute essentials, but most of it is thrown away the same week I get them. I think with this being Shart's work and passion project and all, he just has it a lot harder than us where it's just a hobby.
@@PhoeboBuffay Despite having 1 thousandth of what Shartimus has, my stuff is getting haorder-ish. I'm getting to where boxed figures are stacking up, blocking the cases meant to display the figures. I need some significant time off work to fill 2 of the shelves of the new 4 shelf display case I got a month or, two ago during my last vacation. Also, I need to arrange the wide shelves I have for Classified. And figure out how to turn the one 15 inch tall shelf into two 7" inch shelves. To display more Joes.
NGL, what a mess! It’s nice for you to share this with all of us, it’s really healthy to see what’s happening behind the scenes. I recently ordered my room (still need to order my collection, too) but I can tell you it feels very relieving! We love you, Shartimus! ❤
The honesty is refreshing! I can only imagine how easy it is to get overwhelmed with product when you are collecting and reviewing at this rate. Looking forward to seeing the post-cleaning video!!!
Curating and organizing a collection is def a task and sometimes it isn't fun. I was there a year ago after having moved a collection of thousands of figures three times in as many years. It was difficult to set it all back up a fourth time and conduct a purge. Took me almost a full year to build up the time and energy to handle it. Best of luck to you Shartimus! Don't get too discouraged!
I was in the same boat for a while, I had to decide to only collect Marvel and DC figures. Adding Star Wars, horror, movies, and whatever else to the shelves became to expensive and overwhelming. Ever since I dwindled down a lot I’ve felt a lot better about collecting
Can relate so much to this! Balancing content creation in this space, + family & life is not always smooth sailing! 1 thing at a time brother. You cant look at it in its entirety, break it down 1 small task at a time!❤ much love
With all due respect, I think when a collection is that big, it looks terrible. I'm not even talking about the mess on the floor. When you're displaying that many figures, nothing stands out. it all blurs together and looks like a cluttered mess. I know it's hard for us collectors, because we have the mentality of needing to get everything. But really, less is more. Quality, not quantity. And that's not even getting into the financial hit of buying that many figures.
That's what I'm saying for the life of me I don't understand how people thinks this is cool. It's headache to look at and I'm sure u can't dust them all off.
I agree at some point you’re not a collector anymore you become obsessed with purchasing figures and opening them. I mean are we actually playing with these things. He should donate and do an online garage sale and sell some it would be more beneficial to the culture as a whole
I’ve had to be really ruthless with selling or box storing old figures to keep enjoying my collection. I only have around 20 figures on display at once, usually a few teams or themes I love, like Hydra/Shield or Avengers. I think it’s possible you’ll enjoy it at lot more once you stop being a display completist. Just an idea though and to each his own :)
Hey brother thanks for showing the chaotic side of collecting. So many feel buried by their collections, but just assume that larger collectors have it “figured out” it’s all a work in progress brother!
If you don't get on track it can be a small line between a hoarding and collecting. But in the other hand, you recognize that you have a problem and are willing to let go of stuff. Like the other person said, you need more space. The garage can be convert into a collecting space. All those empty boxes, just opened them, i also keep the boxes and my wife goes nuts. New shelves, that are all the same is also a good way to maintained the collection more organized. Good luck. And happy thoughts
I think when material things start taking over your living space, it's time to make the hard decision to cut back and let some stuff go. Been there to a lesser degree, and you just can't appreciate what you have when it's that much.
It's easy to get overwhelmed with this hobby, especially if you're collecting more than two lines and trying to keep a UA-cam channel going. Everyone has their own level for when they feel it's too much. Your mental health should always be kept in mind.
I’m so overwhelmed with my collection and I probably only have 1/4th the collection you have but I can’t stop buying them I think I have a minor addiction 😢 so take your time
own my lord, as much as I like collecting figures, I simply could not afford the space and the amount of figures you have all around the house. And seeing the figures on the ground. 😱
Hey Shartimus, love the vids. You should look into renting a storage unit (if you don’t already have one lol) or even buying a shed if you have yard space. It would free up a decent amount of space for you.
If your shirt was reality, my entire childhood would be completely different and way less awesome. My neighbors may have a different opinion, though. lol Also, your garage and closets are a ebay reseller's dream!
I decided to clean my collection room and go back and check out the channel and it's nice to know that a big part of why I started is having similar problems, I love this stuff and really relate to this video
NGL, this looks like hoarding. Need to get storage containers (preferably stackable) for items not on display and the ones basically overflowing from your display. For accessories, small parts organizers from Home Depot or Lowes. Best bet is open and store, don’t wait until after you have opened a ton or it will never end. As someone who sells online, I recommend breaking the cardboard boxes down and laying them flat. Tape them back together whenever you’re ready to ship. Those are unnecessary space killers! Don’t think just do! No better time than the present! Good luck!
I believe the healthiest way to collect if your collecting at a scale of this magnitude is to display only 1 figure of a character that is your definitive figure for that character. An example would be to display only 1 hot toy Spider-Man instead of 20 or 1 spawn figure instead of a table worth. Or just 1 of each ninja turtle. Also, you don’t need to collect to prove you love a franchise. People tend to think that they need to collect everything to feel like they are fans of a franchise which is false. The way it currently is, is literally just a mess. 😅
I feel you, I collect a lot of franchise too, and I just get frustrated sometimes, I more the mess, than the organizing. And the space gets limited just to a few franchises, and the other goes to storage and you Don't get to enjoy it.
There’s a very simple solution… make the main living room the new dork room! Let the collection flourish in the main part of the house… then host your dinner parties as an intimate setting in the old dork room.
Yea. Every time you buy a new version of an already existing figure, it's time to part with the old one. I know it's hard selling off figures you had in your collection for years, but how many versions of the classic Spiderman or Captain America do you really need? Once you have the best version, it's time to let go of the rest. I think articulation has reached its peak, I don't think articulation can progress any further otherwise the figures will start looking like puzzles.
I’m in college and I’ve reached a point that I have too much stuff/running out of room. I’ve told myself that I’m going to cut down on what I get. This video helps motivate me. I should put some figures in boxes and only get what I really really want but fomo for wanting a figure when it’s super high in price on the aftermarket gets me. I also got a super good deal 10$ for a deluxe figure and I bought it but I’m thinking to my self I didn’t really need it.
Very relatable video, I struggle with keeping my collection clean and organized too. I also often bite off more than I can chew also. I do the same thing with comics and manga. Thank you for reminding me to take a step back and remember what’s important. Good luck with the clean up! You and I both need it. Point is you’re not alone. 👍
I think that you just need to go through your whole collection and see what you really need and what you don’t need.good luck on cleaning and I hope that you will feel better about your collection.
I just took down my action figures off the shelves yesterday to dust and they're covering my room floor. Whenever I get overwhelmed by having to dust my collection I can go back and watch this video and realize it could always be worse 😂
You're one of my earliest inspirations that helped me fall in love with collecting, thanks for making this video and sharing your experiences! Much love 👊
I definitely don't think you were tone deaf with it and explained yourself pretty well. I am happy for you and your family that you get to support them this way and I can only imagine that it's probably pretty stressful managing a collection like that. Pretty damn impressive but yeah it's definitely time to make some money off of a lot of it, ha. Just remember they are going to a good home every time you sell one.
Sell everything except your favorites and use the funds to support yourself and maybe get off the hamster wheel for a while. Moving forward, any figures you review, if they're not a 9/10 or above, sell immediately after.
I know you’re not asking for advice but if I had to offer any, it would definitely be to get rid of ALL and any boxes, import boxes included. With the sheer amount of figures, you have to make sure every inch of space is accounted for and boxes just don’t make that cut. Of course it would be expected to keep special boxed items, but for about 95% of them, they should go. Don’t get me wrong though, I understand the stress of doing this job, collecting, being there for family, managing time, and everything else included, but I think getting rid of all the boxes is a great first step to take.
Sell some figures with your signature to make more space. Maybe a note mentioning that this figure was reviewed on shartimus prime youtube channel and you can get space back and more cash 😅.
Longtime subscriber, Shart. Hope you can find the time to organize all this and maybe purge some stuff you don’t need! Thanks for the videos throuought the years. Keep going! You’ve got a huge base of fans :)
If there's no rooms left for collection, I think garage floor should be cleared out and then be occupied by shelving like Michael Crawford shows in his videos. And boxes maybe moved to storage unit
@@tombowling8646 I know. I saw your post and immediately recognized the dialogue from Wall Street. Thought it would be fun to follow up using Gordon Gekko’s response in that scene. I’ll have to find my Wall Street blu ray. I remember enjoying it and want to watch again!
Damn, son. I want you to win, but you got to get it together. That work life balance is a no joke concept, despite that work is toys. You need balance, my friend. But you already know that thus this video. I think this will be a great benefit to you in the end if you're serious about making a change. Good luck. I'm interested to see where this goes.
woah, that was interesting and overwhelming at the same time. i mean yea, if someone was thinking you were exaggerating in the intro, you were absolutely not. it's either a job or a condition (hoarding) at this point and in this state. luckily it's the former in your case, and it being the single or primary support for your family I find truly awesome, cause you get to do what you love full time. as impossible as that collection may be, still love your vids, helped me make a decision a lot of times, when I was on the fence with a fig. the toy reviewer scene would be an emptier place without you, so just keep up the good work. and clean up that mess, god damn....lol
Wow, i certainly enjoyed the video. So much stuff on the floor makes it hard to walk around. I'm gonna watch this every time i feel like my stuff is a mess LOL The only thing left that's needed is Street Humans!!!
Hey Shartimus I’m stopping by to send you positive energy & well wishes for your family I grew up watching you and stayed loyal subscribed to the one and only! The nostalgia hits everytime when I see your videos on my recommended from time to time and I just wanted to say thankyou 🙏🏾from making this channel to being the legendary UA-camr that you are 🙏🏾much love my man , bless🖤✨🖤
i feel this brooo when i first started i was keepin alot of boxes and gettin random figs but i let go of so many and still am now just got rid of all my boxes so i hope u get this cleaned up even tho it feels like it sucks too its all understandable bro also glad to have seen u at wondercon at the hat booth dont be ashamed big dawgg!!!
It's like letting your guard down to admit a problem you know you need to work on. Then the people you told respond by saying you have a problem. It was hard enough to come out and say it and document it for accountability, there is no need for critique. The person saying it already knows this, just show support and send positive words.
I sold a majority of my McFarlane DC Multiverse collection this year. I was running out of space so fast and even when I was selective it was still adding up quick. I got into Star Wars Hot Toys. I’m collecting slowly. It’s cost prohibitive but that just makes the figures that much more special too me. I’m starting to consider myself a curator instead of a collector.
This video reminds me of how important it is to only follow two or three lines consistently, such as GiJoe Classifieds, Heman Revelations, or Marvel Legends and only, occasionally, include something from other lines, like Star Wars or Predator (Figuarts) or whatever you like. Otherwise you end up like this dude, which is lovely, I mean he has the dream job we all want, but I think the love of playing with your figures gets drastically reduced when it becomes your actual bread and butter
When I start running out of room, I go through my collection and sell some stuff off. It's a good way to free up some space and make some extra money for future purchases. It also helps to limit yourself to only things you really love. With a very few exceptions I only collect Marvel and DC characters, and only comic related figures (no movie or TV stuff). Almost all Marvel Legends and McFarlane DC Multiverse with some Diamond Select thrown in once in a while. The only other figures I buy are to fill out my Marvel and DC collections. Such as civilian figures from other lines to use as thugs, cops, military personnel, random people, and secret identities, etc. I try to keep it as simple as possible.
I thought I was bad but now I soon realized it’s kinda regular my video game consoles and games shelf’s are always clean but my figures are always all over either I mess with them or constantly switching it around me and my dad have figures always over Ik two rooms and attic aswell as back yard this is just what comes with it when u collecting everything u love from comics movies games and there’s so many continuities hope u all have a good one!
Its been hitting me too lately and its coming to an end soon i feel it my collecting I started to realize I’m collecting certain figures i don’t really want or know about but this really does help a lot, Im thinking Im gonna do more photographs than collecting soon!!!
Love your videos, bro! Please please please please, it might be time to give back to your community. Let some of the collectors that don’t have the ability to fund their hobby. Get some of this. You definitely shouldn’t have Toyz in every single area of your house to the point that you can’t maintain order. I know you cause I’ve been watching your videos since I was a little kid. You’re one of the pillars of the collector and review or community that I’ve always looked up to. I always start going over to your house would be like me going to heaven for a couple of days because you’ve literally have everything I’ve always ever wanted and more. When it comes to collecting from a collector standpoint. but even I have limits. I love my collection to be neat, put together, and to not be so much that you don’t know where to look. And when it is messy, it’s not too terrible to where I know one or two days going hard in the paint wouldn’t fix it. This looks like it would take a month or two to get some semblance of order back. There was one comment I saw where somebody said what if a fire started. All of this is fuel for that fire. we all know that’s a risk in this hobby, so even though we have big collections, we try to not overdo it you absolutely absolutely absolutely love, and be genuinely honest with yourself about what you want to keep. Everything else give back to the community. No one saying you have to stop collecting or that you won’t buy back some of the pieces you sold because you realize that you like them more than you did when you were going through initially. but try to just keep your collection to the room. Outside the dork room should really only be coming outside the room. Like basically, don’t buy more figures to put everywhere else around the house. If you can’t fit it in your dark room on a shelf, then that means it’s time to downsize. And your dark room has shelves literally everywhere. You’ve got plenty of space to work with. or at the very least, if you really don’t wanna get rid of anything and you just love it all so much and you just wanna keep it, then box it all up and put it in storage. Limit what’s actually there to what’s able to fit on those shelves. I say this because I love you, bro. You have kids and a family, and a beautiful wife, and an awesome home. You pay bills every month, and you work hard to maintain your living. So that means you got to take pride in keeping your place, tidy and maintained so that you can have company sometimes, or though at the very least the place is clean and you don’t have to worry about anybody getting sick. There are a lot of figures out there in the world and you have a lot of them. Which is awesome. You have one of the biggest collections in this community. But being the biggest doesn’t always mean it’s a good thing. for myself personally, I’m trying to make sure in my own collection that I hate the same rules and it’s challenging and hard as hell sometimes. But I know I have lazy habits sometimes. I don’t want collection that’s gotten so big. I can’t maintain cleanliness. Because I cannot stand my figures getting dusty. I absolutely hate my figure being on the floor. I hate disorganization, and I hate not being able to spend adequate time with each of them when I feel like it. I don’t want my collection to get so big that there’s hundreds upon thousands of figures that I don’t even get to spend time with because I either forgot that I had them in the first place simply to the fact that I have so many, or they get lost in the sauce. having a manageable collection where I can enjoy all of my figures, take Hella photography, and stuff like that it’s kind of my happy spot. When I realize I have too many is when it can’t fit on a shelf or it’s having to go inside a bin or stuff up my closet. also, I know that you like keeping the boxes, but that’s also fuel for a fire. I definitely don’t recommend keeping every single box you get. I know that they be having nice boxes, but you should only be keeping the nicest of the nicest boxes. The crème de la crème. . You have to be a little better about that because I see you have way too many boxes lol anyway, I love your videos. I will continue to support your work as I am one of your biggest fans. Absolutely zero disrespect meant by any of this, I just care about you and your family and I don’t want to see anything bad happened to y’all because you couldn’t put a cap on a hobby that we all love and enjoy and can sometimes get carried away with.
Hi Shartimus! What a Royal Pain. I feel you. It has happened to me before. Most Toy Companies don't make Display Stands for their Action Figures. I think all Toy Companies Productions, should create every Action Figures, with a Display Stands. Reason, so every Figures in the Future, won't fall off the Detolf Cabinets or Cabinets Shelves. 😲😲😲👍👍
I agree with most comments in here that you need to so some spring cleaning, anyway here is a content Idea to get you motivated in doing it, why not do some sort of a spring cleaning video? on how did you organize all your stuff, or renovate your work spaces this way you can still make content video at the same time clean improve your workplace/ display area. improve one area at a time from the Dork room to the garage, living room etc. I hope this helps and we still look forward for more of your contents
pixel dan did a very similar video a couple years ago he had a mess in his toy room to and i can relate to you shartimus my toy room is a horrible disaster to and that is why i haven't done a toy room video on my channel cause it's embarrassing i've got stuff all over the floor there boxes everywhere maybe i can take inspiration from your video and get my toy room straightened up
As a Turtle collector... that hurts!... nah I'm sure the figures themselves are fine lol I think it's time to just put a lot of figures in bins that are labeled per property, in baggies. It's fun to display stuff, but I'm sure many are gathering dust, putting them in bins would at least keep them in good condition. Possibly just swap out figures when you are getting tired of what's on display.
I know what u mean about collecting. It gets out of hand. I don’t think I have as much as you do. But what I noticed is ever since collecting mainline figures it’s a huge rabbit hole… another thing I ain’t no doctor either 😆 I work multiple regular jobs to afford this type of collecting. It’s definitely ain’t financially friendly at all… and figures are getting expensive and they keep dishing out more and more new releases… never ending cycle of upgrades. I even thinking of downsizing my action figure collection… thanks for this video. Amazing collection through bro besides the mess 😂
I think the main issue here is there is obviously not enough Space. The collection room is way too tiny for all those toys. Been watching you since about 2012 and your videos really bring a lot of enjoyment. Good luck on the cleaning and I hope it brings you plenty of peace of mind. Once all your stuff starts to invade your personal living space then that’s when it becomes a really big problem. Much love Shart👊🏻

You’ll find a new balance for what you need and what you want! Your content is a testament to your love for these fandoms and your family so we all want you going forward in the best way
Awww brother that’s a lot of toys. I couldn’t enjoy my collection like that. I have too much OCD. I keep my figure area spotless.
Same. At this point Shart is just a hoarder lololol. If he was kind of Monica Geller, his collection room would be immaculate.
Me too. I have some boxes for the absolute essentials, but most of it is thrown away the same week I get them. I think with this being Shart's work and passion project and all, he just has it a lot harder than us where it's just a hobby.
@@PhoeboBuffay
Despite having 1 thousandth of what Shartimus has, my stuff is getting haorder-ish.
I think I speak for all of us when I say it’s okay to take a break man! We all understand. No worries take some time to relax! You have our support!
Shartimusprime still collecting action figures
Sounds like a good topic for a MDT/Shartimus livestream Brad
MDT room display is gold standard
man that's crazy. Thanks for sharing. At the very least, you'll have a sweet before and after video when you get to cleaning. Keep us posted.
MYGOD!!!!!!! praying for you brother 😭😭😭😭😭
I love watching Shartimus open new toys and be freaking out because his collection has gotten insane. hahaha
HOLY SHIT😳 that mess would seriously drive me crazy.
This made me list quite a few toys for sale myself 😂
I used to have a huge collection but sold 75 percent of it. I just collect and keep the figures of franchise that remind me of my childhood memories
My wife would KILL me if our home looked like this lol. Christ you are a lucky man. There is no way bro that’s crazyyyy
If it supported the family she’d be okay with it lol
I would lose my mind. I have 1/8th the amount of figures he has and sometimes I feel like I have too much.
Idk what was more entertaining. The video or the comments 🤣 🤣
Start with the boxes bro. Time to let go of the boxes.
Yep no box life
NGL, this looks like hoarding.
Good luck!
Good advice just boxing stuff and stowing stuff is gonna make a difference quickly and will help get things going.
😂😂😂
Bad idea
Feels like hoarding instead of collecting, good luck on spring cleaning bud
We need a before & after of this when you're done straightening up and selling off extras. Not halfway done or "almost done", COMPLETELY done.
He’s got all my dream figures
Wow that's messed up 😂
You're one of my earliest inspirations that helped me fall in love with collecting, thanks for making this video and sharing your experiences!
That's alot of action figures,In the background 😊😊😮😮
I think we all have a mess of toys that we always mean to get around to sorting/cleaning up. it just keeps growing
When collecting becomes hoarding lol
Sell some figures with your signature to make more space. Maybe a note mentioning that this figure was reviewed on shartimus prime youtube channel and you can get space back and more cash 😅.
Truly a collection of epic proportions, Shartimus. Alot of the Marvel Legends, one in particular is Galactus, 32" of awesomeness.
Longtime subscriber, Shart. Hope you can find the time to organize all this and maybe purge some stuff you don’t need! Thanks for the videos throuought the years. Keep going! You’ve got a huge base of fans :)
Hope you get through this spring cleaning
If there's no rooms left for collection, I think garage floor should be cleared out and then be occupied by shelving like Michael Crawford shows in his videos. And boxes maybe moved to storage unit
Tell me, Shartimus Prime, when does it all end, huh? How many yachts can you water ski behind? How much is enough?
“It's not a question of enough, pal. It's a zero sum game - somebody wins, somebody loses.”
@@Henry-by1un, it's just a quote from the movie Wall Street, Michael Douglas, Charlie Sheen, Daryl Hannah... you should see it. It's not a bad flick.
@@tombowling8646 I know. I saw your post and immediately recognized the dialogue from Wall Street. Thought it would be fun to follow up using Gordon Gekko’s response in that scene.
I’ll have to find my Wall Street blu ray. I remember enjoying it and want to watch again!
Amazing toy review
Damn, son. I want you to win, but you got to get it together. That work life balance is a no joke concept, despite that work is toys. You need balance, my friend. But you already know that thus this video. I think this will be a great benefit to you in the end if you're serious about making a change. Good luck. I'm interested to see where this goes.
Maybe a room makeover series on the horizon?? Wishing you well, its not easy sharing something that has gotten out our control.
I can't believe he posted this!!!
Dude you were made to be a host. Charisma and signature voice
woah, that was interesting and overwhelming at the same time. i mean yea, if someone was thinking you were exaggerating in the intro, you were absolutely not. it's either a job or a condition (hoarding) at this point and in this state. luckily it's the former in your case, and it being the single or primary support for your family I find truly awesome, cause you get to do what you love full time. as impossible as that collection may be, still love your vids, helped me make a decision a lot of times, when I was on the fence with a fig. the toy reviewer scene would be an emptier place without you, so just keep up the good work. and clean up that mess, god damn....lol
Wow, i certainly enjoyed the video. So much stuff on the floor makes it hard to walk around.
I'm gonna watch this every time i feel like my stuff is a mess LOL
The only thing left that's needed is Street Humans!!!
8:22 MISFITS SPOTTED RAHHHHHH
Hey Shartimus I’m stopping by to send you positive energy & well wishes for your family I grew up watching you and stayed loyal subscribed to the one and only! The nostalgia hits everytime when I see your videos on my recommended from time to time and I just wanted to say thankyou 🙏🏾from making this channel to being the legendary UA-camr that you are 🙏🏾much love my man , bless🖤✨🖤
Really nice video dude i appreciate you putting this out there and by the way i can't imagine life without drums 👊
i feel this brooo when i first started i was keepin alot of boxes and gettin random figs but i let go of so many and still am now just got rid of all my boxes so i hope u get this cleaned up even tho it feels like it sucks too its all understandable bro also glad to have seen u at wondercon at the hat booth dont be ashamed big dawgg!!!
I too have bunch of figures everywhere and need to get them organized.
I think, you can fold up the boxes and put em on a tub, regardless, this is very brave of you to post! You can do this man!!!
I’m starting to consider myself a curator instead of a collector.
this video is very therapeutic
Thats a LOT of figures damn😭
"how bad could it be? ... good lord" i kid i kid. we've all been there.
This is a addiction problem Shard.....
Have you ever thought about getting a studio for the collection, and doing reviews too?
All of this is fuel for that fire. we all know that’s a risk in this hobby, so even though we have big collections, we try to not overdo it
you absolutely absolutely absolutely love, and be genuinely honest with yourself about what you want to keep.
The crème de la crème. . You have to be a little better about that because I see you have way too many boxes lol
anyway, I love your videos.
My collection is a mess right now. Had plumbers over and had to take a bunch of crap down and now condensing and rearranging
Thanks for sharing, I feel way better about my boxes and mess now. My office and our laundry room are where mine are. Otherwise my wife would explode
You need to sell some of those toys or better yet make your own toy store business at home.
I agree with most comments in here that you need to so some spring cleaning, anyway here is a content Idea to get you motivated in doing it,
why not do some sort of a spring cleaning video? on how did you organize all your stuff, or renovate your work spaces
this way you can still make content video at the same time clean improve your workplace/ display area. improve one area at a time from the Dork room to the garage, living room etc. I hope this helps and we still look forward for more of your contents
pixel dan did a very similar video a couple years ago he had a mess in his toy room to and i can relate to you shartimus my toy room is a horrible disaster to and that is why i haven't done a toy room video on my channel cause it's embarrassing i've got stuff all over the floor there boxes everywhere maybe i can take inspiration from your video and get my toy room straightened up
New sub, bro, waiting for that video 😊
That is masssive!!!:000
As a Turtle collector... that hurts!... nah I'm sure the figures themselves are fine lol
I think it's time to just put a lot of figures in bins that are labeled per property, in baggies.
This is what my parents must think my apartment looks like, and I have like a tenth of this collection.
Don’t let these ppl in the comments put you down for having a mess in your dork room you do you man we know you got this!
AYO THATS MY FRIENDS DRUM TEACHER!
Sell it all
Bro this is crazy 😂
