I’m sure several people irl have had to deal with that sort of trauma, and then immediately have to worry about getting themselves and the rest of their squad out of that situation alive. It’s no wonder so many in war end up with ptsd.

@@Benophobia I feel like he was definitely a conflict of interest because he was aware of Michonne’s general appearance and would be extra in the way of ricks escape attempts. It also forces Thorne into a higher place of power driving up her potential for being an antagonist

Donald Okafor was the goat. He had so much potential and they kill him off like that 😒. Never like a good character because they will die after.
For real....I think he would've surpassed Shane. Him and Rick taking on the CRM and battling demons and their own demons would've been epic television.

I know they probably wanted to keep him in the show but saw how it may effect the timeline. But regardless his death suited me, very sudden, but poetic Justice. Homie blew up CITIES just to get blown up by a small dude. Thats what he gets for pushing around the little guy. Who knows we may see him again in flashbacks.

I thought about it but it was hard piecing some parts together and holding the timeline of the scenes up. They don’t really match so well actually haha. Makes you think they had to have cut some Nat and Michonne parts out

Its a matter of probability. Randomness. In war, grenades can go off right next to a person and not kill or injure them. The spread of the shrapnel is a random distribution. Its been proven and witnessed in multiple wars since grenades have existed. They can also blow off all your limbs and kill you, if your unlucky

Where are they getting fuel and who’s maintaining the choppers
This long after the fall we have no clue how there’s still viable helicopter fuel but they’re all from the Philadelphia national guard armory. They’ve got an abundance of maintenance materials and spare parts as well as engineers. The fuel situation definitely doesn’t make any sense though.
As far as I know jet engines can theoretically run on almost anything flammable, the main difference being efficiency and how clean it burns. If they have access to gasoline for their land vehicles, it isn't a stretch that they have something to run their choppers as well.
Plus all you'd need to do would be to secure an oil rig or an oil well, a refinery, and you're set. For a faction as big and resourceful as the CRM it should be easy to do.

Yeah it would've made more sense if it didn't penetrate the plate but got trapped there but still exploded. Something that can go clean through a plate like that would probably rip his arm off from firing. It also went through the damn helicopter.

I love how every show fan is just eating this new series up, and not a single soul is questioning why Michonne has apparently abandoned her morals and character to essentially be a raider/bandit.
Sure, she's looking for Rick - but shooting down random helicopters doesn't really get justified by her search for Rick. Point blank, it's terrible writing by people who clearly do NOT understand the characters lol.

she was fucking gassed by the same people in the same crm helicopters in this same episode mate. Obviously she established them as a threat because of that as she lost a whole group because of them and 2 friends she made, as well as almost dying herself. I think it was pretty reasonable in this world for her to shoot them down lmao. They were a well established threat and Michonne had to get rid of the threat.
They took 2 new friends and a year of her time looking for rick
